Description

As there is a discussion about someone's wish list going around, let us compose our wish list too, maybe it will get traction :)

1) Remove the timer on Energy Shield. Just make it toggle on/off
The cumbersome prebuffing on the enchantress deters me from playing her. Knowing that not only at the start of each session, but also for each spell individually, it will need to be repeated, asynchronized, is just too much to handle
Enchant every 20+ mins
Energy Shield every ~15 mins
Chilling Armor (or Frozen Armor) every ~5-7 mins

The matter is made worse by the fact that the renewal of the spells can be inconsistent / fail to happen

At least removing the need to repeat the Energy Shield (essential for survival) during the session will make it more appealing to play
If mana drops to 0, Energy Shield shall switch off as it does now, fair enough

2) Make the Valkyrie persistent between games. Let it be recast only if the skill level is the same or higher as at the time of previous casting. It's such a pain to get the valk to 50+, get the color you need in sometimes 30 tries, and then start over after a disconnect, or with a normal new session. Or to accidentally recast her from levl 53 to lvl 37...

3) Same as 2) for Shadow Master

4) I understand that warlocks need to pack up skillers and demon gear before session ends to start next session with maxed out demon. Again unnecessary effort. Just keep the level at the time of binding, instead of repeating it again and again

5) let us cube 12 gems at once. Or make a smarter solution to facilitate the process

6) let us transfer Gold between personal stash and shared stash quicker

Can be used to make Runewords:

7. For us hoarders: A web interface to access both shared and character-specific stash pages of online accounts, where one can move items between pages and characters without running the game. Bonus if you can 1) link several accounts that you own together and move between them, and 2) trade directly with other players through the interface.

(I'm not sure about (2) for immersion reasons. For the same reasons, I don't think the system I outline should access inventories, only stash pages)

Usually available after 21CET. Most of my Expansion trades can be converted to RotW, just ask.

All I want is a charm bag so I don't have to choose between maxing out my power and being able to hold any items.
It's so tedious in a way that isn't fun in any way to have to go to town, make space, go back to where you were fighting, pick up the item you wanted, go back to town to store it, put your charms back in your inv, then go back to fighting.
I know most people will Sacrifice 4 charm slots and carry the cube to avoid that, but does having to make that decision add fun or skill to the game?

+1 on the charms bag. Could partition the inventory but only allowed to have charms, maybe a 4x4 space, allowing a torch, a sunder and two skillers or a skiller and Gheed with a bottom row of small charms or just more small charms. Then the rest of the inventory goes to other items. Would require some sacrifices. Then again, maybe just leave the inventory alone and we can all fill it up with skillers and 3/20/20s and 5/20s anyway. I admit, I fill up my inventory with only 2 columns free to add a cube, but that's hardly a way to live :-)

Apart from fixing Chains' inconsistency with target, I would like some clearer indicator when Hex Bane (or other hexes) is running out. Currently, I only really notice when I suddenly can't clear very well. Same with Consume (yes, the floating red thingies are a good indicator, but in reality I only know its gone off when I start walking slow). Same with shouts. Would be nice to have some sort of bar or something showing when an effect is running out. Same goes for shrines, although you can just count down from 5 in most cases.

I agree and disagree with @ganseng about the Bind Demon. Yes, it would be nice to get the permanent damage buff on bind. You could look for your special demon, isolate it (e.g., Frozen River), TP, gear up, bind, voila!, super demon. On the other hand, it would mean special demons you hunted for won't ever improve if you level up or get better gear, meaning you're on the hunt again. Snapshotting at start of game means your demons powers up with you. On the fence about this one. Also makes it a bit toooo easy for non-demon builds to just gear up to the 9s and get a super demon and then forget about it.

I like this idea a lot. In retrospect it's weird how some self-buff spells like Enchant, Energy Shield, the various Cold Armors etc have durations, but other self-buff spells like Bone Armor and Cyclone Armor and now Warlock's Psychic Ward are indefinite.

My QoL idea would be a separate inventory for gems, jewels and runes. It doesn't make sense to me these things take up a single inventory slot each, esp. now that we have gem and rune stacking. Tho maybe jewels should be the only exception.

Actually, I thought of another. They might have done this with one of the other diablos.

Saved gearing. Up to three saved gear setups would be amaaaazing. As long as the gear is in your stash, you can go to your stash and equip with one click. Prebuffing in 10 seconds instead of 2 minutes every 6 minutes or so. I would have 1) my full Bind Demon gear, 2) my full Hex Bane gear and 3) my roll-out geat (bowlock or Abyss or whatever).

Would make running back to town to regear for Bind Demon before exiting so much nicer.

And maybe I'd get geared up in time to actually make it to a boss or good Terror zone before everyone else takes them :-)

Display the timer of effects. It totally sucks if you shape to human form, your BO runs off or your ES turns off in the middle of a fight.
Even better: remove timers all together and pet those things Consume mana over time instead. Makes much more sense as well!

Playing HC SSF right now.

Hell completed: Sorc, Druid, Paladin, Ama, Assa, Necro, Barb
Iron Man (Paladin): Nightmare A1

Lower Battle Orders should not overwrite higher Battle Orders.

For low items I also accept: Perfect Amys, Ral, Hel, Tokens, Keys. Please don't offer runes lower than Pul (with the named exceptions).

Being able to change the default quick Key voice messages from the current ‘combat voice messages’ to ‘in town/ trade messaging’. Keys could be:

1. Are you the host?
2. Show me what you got?
3. Show me your offer?
4. Not for me. You should take that item to Charsi. It’s food for her.
5. No thanks you. Just, no.
6. Sure, I can do that.
7. Have you completed your trade already?
8. Offer me more.
9. That’s too high.
10. I’ll go my way, you go yours.

I provide my bnet details after I have accepted your offer/ you accept mine.

Flexible but mostly trade is UTC+1 evenings. Note timezone differences: several hours ahead of US / behind Asia. Prompt but don't expect instant. This ain't Traderie.

Agreed with @Ciel115 I think a separate inventory for charms is long overdue.

A dedicated 10×4 charm grid, where only charms can be placed and apply their respective bonuses. Or make it slightly smaller (7-9x4) to take Horadric Cube + torch into account in current builds and charm stacking, although that would obviously affect PvP balance. Charms wouldn't be able to be placed anywhere else.

Right now, the charm system doesn't really create an interesting trade-off. It creates a choice between being as powerful as possible while having virtually no inventory space (ie. cube), or giving up character power so picking up loot isn't tedious.

Most optimized characters simply choose power and put loot into cube and take shorter trips home. That's not inventory management, just extra clicking.

i would let the charms to be places in the stash tab, it's just they would provide effect only if placed in the charms tab

and 10x4 is totally fine, would somewhat close the gap between teh strongest builds that don't really need full stash of charms, and the weaker builds that barely work with full stash of charms

A 'charm shrine' inventory tab either for your in town stash or your personal inventory that acts like a pseudo-cube? That's a cool idea.

I) would REALLY love if they implemented quick search within character names, to quickly find the right mule. Fulltext search for anything within the characters would be EPIC and I would pay hard money for it.

II) In the same theme, let us buy more stash slots.

III) Expand the cube to 4x4, is it a cube in the end :D

IV) Let Items pick directly in the cube if stash is full.
