i've relaunch d2 this week, and i want to know if you have converted all your characters in ROTW.
A few months ago, it was a thing to not convert our characters for differents reasons :
- Trading in LOD and ROTW
- Andy farm with a better drop rate in LOD
- Sundering charm in LOD
- Others things i probably forgot
What is the situation today ? there always reasons to keep characters in LOD ? Or have you convert all your characters ?

In the first RotW season Latent sunder drop rates were a big problem, so farming old sunders in LoD with much better drop rates and then later transfering to RotW was a thing. Now, my feeling is that LoD is mostly dead.
I converted everything right away after confirming RotW "wasn't shit". ^^
Can't be bothered to deal with 2 game versions.
And yeah, the sunder thing isn't anywhere near as bad anymore.
Andy farm and such I would've never counted as an argument since farming her for "improved odds" also removes any and all odds of RotW drops which are in part far more valuable. That was even more true earlier on. That trade-off has hence always felt like an intentional loss more than anything.
Trading wise, no clue if anyone still bothers with LoD. Haven't looked at that in ages and never felt like I'm missing anything because of it.

There are like 5 players still trading on LoD. Lobbies are always empty, at least on EU server.
IMHO no reason to stay on LoD if you have the RotW.
Playing HC SSF right now.
Hell completed: Sorc, Druid, Paladin, Ama, Assa, Necro, Barb
Iron Man (Paladin): Nightmare A1
if you trade, you shouldnt convert all char to rotw.
You only convert what you need to play to rotw.
because you can sometimes trade something in lod.
rotw market have most thing in lower rune worth. means, you can sell something higher in lod and move those more valuable into rotw.
example: Perfect Skull in rotw is cheaper vs lod market, means, you should sell all Perfect Skull in lod market , then move 'Ist' or Jah into rotw.
(Perfect Skull may work on this rule, Perfect Amethyst probably, Perfect Gems is very close to rotw that you can try to see if it is higher in lod but dont spend too much time. I guess it is same now.)
small runes(Ort, Eth, Nef...), Junk Jewels is almost 200% more valueable in lod. That also example of sell those before into rotw.
The reverse case is Ist, Ist is less valuable in lod market . those you can directly convert to rotw.
rare rings, special equipment also 3-10 times more valuable in lod but you cant easily move them into true value. value is there but market is shinking.
like 10 fcr tri resist mf mana ring, lod it can worth 20+ Jah but rotw it probably few Jah.
problem is that ring will very difficult to sell in lod.
Some Trade is available for both rotw and LoD, Most rune , Perfect Gems is only in LoD side.
I will busy at us Stock market open time. 9:30 a.m. ET
