Warren's IAS Calculator updated /thumbs up emoji/

I am curious if Mirrored Blades is accurate. The estimates from maxroll were giving me much higher IAS required to reach 11 frames on a diamon bow.

Input values were identical-ish. In Maxroll I set a level 12 Fanaticism as a "buff" and added the IAS jewels to equipped gear. This was prior to Warren's new update, and I'm not sure if they were identical at the time or not (I thought Maxroll was taking directly from Warren's calculator). I haven't checked if Maxroll has updated their estimates either. But according to the new version, I'd be able to drop at least 30-40% IAS from gear and still hit 11 frames. Sounds good to me!
Note: Mist Demon Xbow hits max 11 frames right off the bat with no IAS from gear.

Also, according to this, I could drop demon xbow and just go straight Colossus xbow for Mist with the same frames (my gear hits 70 ias with Hellwarden, Horazon boot/glove and Mist.

I have no idea if Maxroll was actually ever correct on Cleave / Mirrored Blades, I assumed they just guessed or based it on something they shouldn’t have. The breakpoints for these skills are not easily readable, they’re hardcoded and the source code is not available, meaning it needed to be decompiled from the game’s binaries. Noone had actually done this until somewhat recently (Warren mentions in the README that someone on a modding discord dumped the sequences for all hardcoded skills). What you see in Warren’s calc should be more accurate than Maxroll. But you could always try to verify it in-game yourself by seeing how adding/removing IAS affects attack speed (particular around breakpoints that differ between them), if you want to contribute. Warren often verifies breakpoints in-game himself, or someone else he trusts helps him with it, but maybe he hasn’t yet for those two skills. And Warren will actually look at your bug reports if you find one.

What do you mean go straight for Colossus Crossbow? It never left. The physical damage is huge on this thing to leech from and even under maxroll could reach 11 frames. I brought this with me from ladder season 13 and am using it with Hex Purge over Buriza-Do with Hex Bane, currently.

I can check real quick, if it reaches 11 frames with Hex Bane, as per Warren at +68 IAS (lvl 38 Mirrored Blades) and lvl 12 Fanaticism, easy peasy. And it seems it does based on me seeing and hearing the same cadence (I'm a noob).
BRB, retiring Hex Purge in favor of Hex Bane. Cute. More importantly it reaches 11 frames at +70 IAS (= Highlord's Wrath, Mist, Horazon's Hold and Horazon's Legacy) even at lvl 11 Fanaticism, so I can safely bind a Furnace of Pain immune Megademon without losing anything.
