As far as I know the ghosts have a substantially higher chance to drop a high rune. But none of the high runes I got came from a ghost. and very few mid runes. not sure if it's normal, how is your experience?
P.S. better not to think how many Ber runes get wasted in the arkane Sanctuary and the Chaos Sanctuary..
