Changes to trade listing expiry functionality

Hi all, did a mini-patch to the site this evening.

In response to /trade feedback, I've made some changes to the trade listing expiry functionality which I think you will like:

Previously:
If it had been three days since the last comment on (or bump of) a trade listing, the trade listing was automatically deleted. This caused a great deal of frustration for new traders and experienced traders alike, who would have to re-create all of their listings one-by-one if they wanted them back on the market. Yikes.

Now:
If it has been three days since the last comment on (or bump of) a trade listing, the trade listing is automatically frozen, not deleted. This means that if you miss your bumps for three days, or forget to freeze things before you go on holiday, or whatever happens, when you come back you can just unfreeze your expired listings. PS you don't have to wait for 12 hours after they were automatically frozen in order to unfreeze them - but this rule still stands if you manually freeze all your trades (you still have to wait 12 hours to unfreeze manually-frozen listings).
Sorry that it took so long to get this change done. I would have done it earlier in the site's lifetime had I not been concerned with database storage and performance at the time. After some optimisations I made earlier this year, I realised that it would not be a big issue anymore keeping all these stale trades 'stored' (as frozen listings) on the database.

Really cool change. I am someone who plays infrequent so this change will help me get back to trading after a coupe of days of being away.

I stopped trading here after hundreds of priced crafted amulets were deleted 3 times (over a year or so).

Will have to them back on I guess.
(Unfortunately, I'm still pre-RotW. Are there any D2R players left to trade with?)

Will the frozen items be deleted after a longer time, like a month or year, to clean up the storage?

Since "permanent" makes Edge cases more likely, I am curious:
I'd assume WTS and WTB trades are treated the same and both now just get frozen indefinitely if not bumped?

And in either case, what happens to a WTS trade that is frozen (be that manually or automatically) before a ladder reset and later unfrozen & bumped after a ladder reset? Does your

Conversion-script still successfully turn a ladder trade into a non-ladder trade at that point or does the freezing end up somehow interfering with that, causing it be unfrozen as still a ladder trade, then requiring manual

I was so unfortunate to have experienced this as well a couple of weeks ago. Coming back from a holiday I realized I hadn't bumped my trades for a few days and they were all gone.

My mistake, I thought. Should 've paid better attention. But it was kinda frustrating having to find out manually which items where still in my stashes and to recreate every single trade.
