Can be used to make Runewords:

Bind Demon
nerf is lame. It's cool to have a summon that actually does some non negligible damage to help.

It's not that the demon is needed for fire or
Echoing Strike
builds or the damage makes a huge difference, it's more that it is just satisfying to have a summon or helper that is actually more than just a
Decoy
or aura stick.
Let's not sell the horse, yet. The "nerf" isn't meant to resuce the list damage of
Bind Demon
, just the miscalculation they were making out of copy/pasting code from goats (as I understand it).

For example, my Lvl 54
Bind Demon
is meant to give 3404 flat damage and +860% off damage (I think). Add lvl 13
Fanaticism
(+303%) and lvl 8
Concentration
(+160% from my garbage Mist roll), and demon is now doing (3404 + avg 100 Lancer base damage) + 1323% (=46358) = 49862 damage per hit before resistances and curses. E.g., sundered physica lmmune = ~2500/hit at 95% physical resist. Not amazing, but not horrible. Would take 7-8 hits on a Stone skin P1 Blod Lord
Frenzy
cow (much more on P8). Of course, proccing Amp Dam would one shot them.

Still oretty good, but also shows importance of Amp Dam for your demons.

I am going to try a xbowlock build running
Atma
's or Witchwild (or both) to proc Amp Dam myself with
Mirrored Blades
. Should keep my Demon hitting very hard.

thanks for sharing. interesting with tweaking the uniques, would also do it sequentially, because you of course piss off people who have the old versions in perfect rolls. would make sense to start with the high level items to give people more time to accumulate the new versions, but i guess they are testing the water here.

as for the changes themselves, it's a mixed bag. angelic set and
Manald Heal
are already great options, nice to see them getting even better. battlebranch,
The Ward
and
Bane Ash
could become somewhat usable now. and both bow updates are just middle fingers, remain as useless as they were
Seems more like another step in that "trying to make early to mid game gear more worthwhile" effort, akin to what they've already done with many sets in an earlier D2:R patch. Many a high lvl unique really doesn't need any changes after all as they're perfectly fine and often BiS as they are. Given, some of those do kinda suck as well by comparison but nowhere near as much as the early to mid game stuff.

And a change like "added socketed (1)" just screams "we're not looking at endgame, we just want to add something early/mid to save you from blowing your
Larzuk
socket along the way".

Though FRW on manald is actually kinda hot and does make that somewhat tempting even for certain (albeit few) endgame builds.

The "ladder only" part is weird though, seeing how they didn't artifically limit it in the last round of changes. But oh well..gotta have something be different on ladder I guess, what with the RWs finally rolling down.
Tyrael's Might
really should be THE BiS for someone. How about if it randomly rolled a +1 skill from a pool of options, including
Teleport
?

I'm confused by this:
Blizzard wrote:
Previous ladder only items will be available in Non-Ladder with the new season. Items that have been listed below which have been changed will only be available in Ladder (Reign of the Warlock only, items will not be changed for D2 Classic or Lord of Destruction).
I'm guessing this means that Mania, Hysteria, Metamorphosis, Ground, Temper, Hearth, Cure, Bulwark will all be available in (create-able) in non-ladder. Can someone confirm?

What about the following bit?

Items that have been changed will ONLY be available in Ladder.

Bloodletter

Added 20% Faster Run/Walk.

The Battlebranch

Reduced base Item level from 34 to 30.
Reduced Required Level from 25 to 17.

Rogue's Bow

Added +[1-3] to either
Cold Arrow
or
Fire Arrow
(Amazon Only).

Pluckeye

Added +25% Increased Attack Speed.

Bane Ash

Removed +20% Increased Attack Speed.
Removed +[50-60]% Enhanced Damage.
Added +20% Faster Cast Rate.

Gravenspine

Added +10% Faster Cast Rate.

Blinkbat's Form

Increased +10% Faster Run/Walk to +30%.
Added +1 To Mana After Each Kill.

The Ward

Added Socketed (1).

Manald Heal

Added +10% Faster Run/Walk.

Angelic Raiment:

Angelic Sickle

Added Damage +6 (3 set items).

Angelic Mantle

Added +100% Damage to Undead (3 set items).

Full set bonus
Added +1 to All Skills.
^ Does this mean that these items will not be available in non-ladder?
Or does it mean that these items will be available in both non-ladder and ladder, but the extra stats are only available in ladder?
