If you were to make a new cube recipe, what would it be?

i've had this fantasy for a while, to reroll a unique by putting 3x of the same item in the cube... of course that does not work since the cube has limited space. but you get the idea.

what are your fantasy cube recipes?

Something to downgrade runes to the previous rune because I have 2 Jahs on single player that would be much more useful as Bers! XD

Something which could add magic attributes to an item. Like if you have a unique armor with 4 attributes already, but you want to have cold resist on it as well. Then you put that armor with a Perfect Sapphire and Thul rune at voila you got cold resist as well. After that if you want to upgrade that cold resist, just do the same recepie again and get more resist. You could get for example up to 7 different magic attributes, but could give a lot of variable in to the game.

but yeah, i think single player would benefit a lot from that. it might break the online game but as long as it only produces 1 rune, i think its fair game. if it were to produce 2x of the lower rune, it totally breaks the rune economy lol.

it would be qol improvement to cube 12 gems at once to get 4 of next level..

other than that, something to reset Charsi and Larzuk rewards?

Could be fun to have a Zod recipe that enables you to make an item etheral (provided that it is capable of being ethereal).

Ethereal item + Zod + Skull = same item but non-ethereal

Non-ethereal item + Cham + PSaphire = same items but ethereal

i think it would be fair for both. its not too difficult to get a fresh char to run through normal. it just takes a bit of time. might as well spend materials instead.

Standard of Heroes + Perfect Diamond + Hel = reroll unique item or runeword

remove socketed stuff (jewel/rune/pg etc) from an item without destroying it completely like the recipe Hel+tp scroll does now. maybe Hel+ Standard of Heroes+identify scroll?

Would love a way to recolour items, i think i saw a theoretical recipe in the Standard of Heroes thread using Standard of Heroes and 1 perfect gem to recolour an item to that gem's colour, as if it were a gemmed grey item

I'd still never use Harlequin Crest lol but it would make it a lot less horrible if u could at least make it colour match the rest of ur gear

Something that would allow you to build a new item slot - like combining a unique Leather Armor, with a unique Belt, with a unique amulet, plus a load of diamonds -to create a unique cloak and open up the secret ‘cloak’ slot, a new item type

Would allow for new combinations, metas, balances and so on.

Or… a new Runeword called Synergy.

3 rune socket into any weapon or armour.

By itself it doesn’t do anything spectacular, but when used in proximity of some one else using a synergy Runeword in a weapon/armor, it acts as a ‘synergy’ for one of your main skills… so a cold sorc would have a choice of their Frozen Orb or blizzard synergised by the weapon - say an extra 10% cold damage, duration… and each additional player running a synergy would add 10% to each others’ main skill, with a full P8 synergy adding a total of 100% to each player’s own selected skill.

Might encourage tactical cooperation and a new play style?

It could even have a new visual, like a warlock’s sigil linking each of the players synergised with each other.

Direct consumptions:

1) Consume any weapon runeword to get 5% bonus damage for 10 minutes (runeword weapon + scroll of TP). bonus and time could be factored by runes consumed
2) Consume any armor runeword for 5% damage reduction for 10 minutes (runeword armor + scroll of TP). bonus and time could be factored by runes consumed
3) Consume 11 rejuvenation potions and a TP scroll for a 5% bonus to health and mana for 10 minutes
4) Consume 11 Tal + 1 TP scroll for -10 poison resist to enemies for 10 minutes ( Ral for Fire, Ort, Thul)

stuff like this - small but notable buffs. recipes included only as examples, i've got no idea what would be balanced

I'm mad that I can't throw 12 rings in a cube, shake it, and get a Ring Mail out of it. I don't even know how to benefit from this feature, but my heart just needs this to be possible.
