I could not possibly agree more with you. I used to get wound up real tight in these conversations. Then I realized "why the fuck do I care so much? My life must be really boring if I let conversations like this get me all bent out of shape". So I started giving my fucks towards things that actually matter and I'm much happier for it.offload wrote: 6 days agoeasiest solution is just to be happy that the site exists at all, and move on with life.

Can be used to make Runewords:
But then we need to define what is this "Near Perfect" category? 80+%? 85+%? 90+% 95+%?NxZsolt wrote: 6 days agoShould be a new category "Near Perfect" and the problem solved. So they can pop out from the average and they wont lie if they mark with that.
Without it the same problem arises.
It's great as is. Perfect generally means perfect on the most important roll that defines 95% of the value. This is how it's used in-game as well. There is no need to change this.
Calling it "Near Perfect" even with a definition would Confuse people.
Now, the site creator COULD add a tag called "Collector Perfect" to indicate perfect on all rolls, but why?
1) It will take up their time
2) It will impact maybe a handful of trades annually at most on the site
3) It may Confuse people as to what tag to pick. People need simple options.
This is trying to solve for a scenario that is much too niche for this site.

To call this perfect with +3 to ColdNova and 11% to the corresponding cold element is farcical, even by the lax interpretation of the word "perfect" that the forum rules allow here.
And a perfect example why I would contradict varangium when he claims that "It's great as is"...

Haha yes, there will always be people that push or misunderstand the rules. By "it's great as is", I mean the way most players interpret it works pretty well. That will always be the case, no matter what the rule.wulfen777 wrote: 12 hours agoTo call this perfect with +3 to ColdNova and 11% to the corresponding cold element is farcical, even by the lax interpretation of the word "perfect" that the forum rules allow here.

But at least we get some humor out of it when we waste the click.
I think I saw a "Perfect" Latent Cold Rupture that was listed earlier, that had -73% cold res, which is doubly funny since on a Latent the cold res doesn't even matter. I don't see it anymore, perhaps they took it down out of embarrassment
Sunders are difficult to understand for newer players. I saw a game a few months ago advertising a perfect sunder (pre ROTW) with the max of 90%. The host even explained it as much..varangium wrote: 12 hours agoHaha yes, there will always be people that push or misunderstand the rules. We can remove abusive perfects - did it for the Ormus.
Can do trades on D2R or D2RotW
