what the most sought after crafted item to shoot for?
Can be used to make Runewords:
what the most sought after crafted item to shoot for?
stay a while and listen to the corpses explode
will take offers of

Junk Jewels

#1 Caster Amulet (this is the reason why Rals and PAms are so valuable)
#2 Blood Gloves (many uses: 2/20 for Ama or Assa, 20IAS/10cb for smiters, 20IAS/3+ll for melee builds)
#3 blood rings
Others are rarely used as BIS for PvM, so you should stick to those.
There are things in PvP, like lvl 30 caster belts, don't try your luck with those unless you really know what you are doing. iLvl/cLvl have to be right to maximize the odds of getting anything valuable.

agreed with those, i also craft Hit Power Gloves when i found magic Vambraces or heavy braces, for same reason as crafting Blood Gloves, but these for physical bowazon / throwing barbarian / bladesin with always guaranteed knockback modifier.vued wrote: 17 hours ago#1 Caster Amulet (this is the reason why Rals and PAms are so valuable)

All trades are NON-LADDER softcore only, occasionally LADDER, check every trade
do NOT add me on bnet before making actual offer, thank you

indeed, best base items are from 96 tz and when you roll them, high lvl depended item was a lvl95 for necromancer Caster Amuletvued wrote: 16 hours agoDo you have the correct character level for crafting?richhtx wrote: 17 hours agoits something i want to give a try

jewel item level does not matter, only the base item (rings, amulets, gloves ... )

No, not really. You want the crafted item to have lvl 90. The crafted item level is the average of the level of the amulet used for crafting and the level of the crafting character (rounded down). That's why it's common to use lvl 93 character for crafting with gambled amulets.silv3r wrote: 15 hours agoindeed, best base items are from 96 tz and when you roll them, high lvl depended item was a lvl95 for necromancer Caster Amuletvued wrote: 16 hours agoDo you have the correct character level for crafting?richhtx wrote: 17 hours agoits something i want to give a try

However, there are bad affixes at higher levels which not only decrease the chances of getting a GG item but also increase the required level for using the crafted amulet. You don't want that. So ideal level for crafting is 93 when gambling and lvl 89 when using amulets from TZ drops.

Thatās actually too low, unless you are careful to only use amulets that dropped from bosses, elites or minions (i.e. not from trash mobs or containers).
Like you said yourself, the output crafting level is based on input item level and the crafting characterās level, but when doing this, the game halves both values, and they are each rounded down before summing.
crafted item's ilvl = [clvl / 2] + [magic item's ilvl / 2]
(square brackets denote rounding down)
If youāre 89, then TZs are 91, so amulets from trash mobs or containers are ilvl 91. Due to rounding, this will result in crafting output ilvl of 89:
89/2 = 44.5 => rounded down to 44
91/2 = 45.5 => rounded down to 45
Result is 44+45 = 89
(drops from minions, unique mobs and berserker champions would be 94, so output ilvl of 91, and drops from other champions would be 93, so output ilvl of 90 - but this requires extra attention paid to which mob actually dropped an item)
If youāre level 90 instead, TZ level is 92, which will yield crafting output ilvl of 91:
90/2 = 45
92/2 = 46
Result is 45+46 = 91
(and again, a little higher if dropped from elites or minions)

I thought the formular was [(cLvl+iLvl)/2]. Are you sure about this?ShadowHeart wrote: 6 hours agoThatās actually too low, unless you are careful to only use amulets that dropped from bosses, elites or minions (i.e. not from trash mobs or containers).

Yes.
I can quote multiple sources:
Amazon Basin: https://www.theamazonbasin.com/wiki/ind ... afted_item
- The crafted item's ilvl is calculated as follows:
- crafted item's ilvl = [clvl / 2] + [magic item's ilvl / 2]
Arreat Summit: https://classic.battle.net/diablo2exp/i ... tems.shtml
The basis for the calculation of the affix level is the item level. The ilvl of a Crafted Item is equal to half the level of the crafting character (rounded down) plus half the ilvl of the input item (rounded down). Put another way:
(1) ilvl = int(.5 * clvl) + int(.5 * ilvl)
Maxroll: https://maxroll.gg/d2/items/crafted-ite ... ons-header
- Determine the ilvl of the crafted item.
- For this formula, we need to know the clvl and the ilvl of the Magic Item that is used to craft. Unfortunately, knowing the ilvl of the base item is not always possible, as there is no in-game tooltip to show what ilvl an item has.
ilvl = int(0.5 * clvl) + int(0.5 * ilvl)
d2jsp Crafting Handbook: https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=30598890
ilvl - internal level of magic item; the "input item level"
Ilvl - internal level of crafted item; the "output item level"
Code: Select all
Ilvl = int(clvl/2) + int(ilvl/2)

I also making Safety Boots and amulets. Just because I have plenty of Perfect Emeralds , Orts and Thuls.
Nothing good so far, but why not?

Because you can use them for more useful things. PGems for rerolling skillers and and Orts/Thuls for making spirits.dionisy_cn wrote: 2 hours agoI also making Safety Boots and amulets. Just because I have plenty of Perfect Emeralds , Orts and Thuls.

But if you are not aiming to optimize for trade value, cubing is fun and you can get nice stuff from e.g. Safety Boots, especially if you are playing HC. I use many "non-optimal" recipes in SSF playthroughs.
It's just that Safety Boots are not among the "most sought after" things that OP was asking for.

I also crafted sometimes Blood Helms because of its 10% deadly strike and Blood Belts because of its 10% open wounds . Perfect Rubies was my most saw stones .
