Off-hand weapon stats question

I know they don't show up on the advanced stats page, but I'm not sure what actually works or how I guess. For example, if I socket a

Protector's Stone into my off-hand

Dreadfang, I am assuming the enhanced damage only applies to the weapon its in, but wasn't sure about things like the minus enemy physical resist, or specifically the magic find, since it doesn't show up. Does the MF only apply if the killing blow is laid with the off-hand?

AFAIK, you don't need to kill with your MF weapon to benefit from it.
MF is summed up then applied before each kill.

I think that's the same for -%res.

My timezone is CET/UTC+1.

I already tried sticking the protector Stone in a

Dreadfang and it doesn’t feel like its killing any faster, then when I stuck the Stone in a

Helm instead. Only noteworthy thing is

Dreadfang became more expensive to repair. I think I preferred it when I had a

Ber in it.

It's all about the barb.

Update: Seems like I asked a dumb question because socketing this thing in the offhand actually does show the stats on the advanced page for MF/GF/minus enemy resist, etc. Weird, because it does not show other stats on the offhand such as mana leech and deadly strike.

Mana leach and deadly strike only apply to the individual weapon(s). Having deadly strike or leach on a weapon, you only get the benefit when actually swinging that weapon.

The “Two weapons” article on Amazon Basin has a full list of mods that only apply per weapon.

Interesting, so this is why some of those other stats actually do show in the advanced, because they apply everywhere. I guess it's not as broken as I thought xD

Looks like the minus enemy physical resist from the jewel should actually apply to main hand Grief as well, as it does show up in advanced and doesn't appear on that wiki list.
