what would the re-sell value be?
got 2 other Crystal Sword bases started with one Amn + Ral, the other Amn + Ral + Mal.
Crystal Sword is a nice distinction from Heart of the Oak its visibly diffrent.
just need the easiest to equip

Why would you ever consider making a CtA in an Ettin Axe? Maybe 1% of all CtA users attack with their CtA. Imagine hitting a 6-6-4 and nobody wants to buy it because you made it in an Ettin Axe!
On RotW non-ladder softcore, you should easily get 1 Ist or even Ist+ Um for a 4-2.

Show me a character with Spirit in a Monarch in offhand, having anni and torch in the inventory that cannot wear it. Ravenfrost is also a thing for many characters. Or TalRasha Belt.
And about 1% of characters @DrunkAkuma CTA has "prevent monster heal" which by Warlock can be applied via Blade Warp or ES.
So making CTA in a Crystal Sword is a waste of opportunity.
Rerolling CTA in a Crystal Sword which is common as dirt is a double waste.
And if I will ever roll 664 I will never sell it.
I don't follow, what about Blade Warp?!?

i was stupid enough once to make a cta in an Axe base because it had lower str requirement... only to realize it was a 2- Hand Axe
it rolled okay and some warlock bought it as they could use 2h weapons in one hand back then.. hope he doesn't regret it too much now
as for the op's question, depends on the budget of course. make another one if you can afford. you can sell this one for 1-2 Ist if you roll a better one

ahh ok, well Im not going to use it on my Warlock, its for my Fire sorceress, taking a CtA from ny necro until i can make a decent

if it is your first one...that your main play still lack of cta. You probably need to sell this and buy another 4 bo in market. it should not that expensive and useable.

Plenty of ppl use Splendor/ Lidless Wall on swap with Call To Arms (me included). The value of a flexible base like Crystal Sword/ Flail far outweighs any value someone could get out of attacking with it. Someone using it to proc PMH, regardless of the base, is using it to hit Diablo Clone once before swapping back to main weapon

CTA should basically only be made in Crystal Sword, Flail or Scepter/staff. It's a complete waste to make it in any high req base
...or Double Axe. Also good to make it in a base that your character isn't using on main so that you can easily identify which weapon you have active. Always accepting Worusk's End and Korlic's Pain statues for trades. Also accept keys for trades.

My sorc uses a Flail since my main hand is a sword. If I had an appropriate staff I'd swap to that even though I'd lose +2 from Spirit for the CTA casts

I have 3 more, but Im super lazy & dislike to swap around gear from chars and want a new for this char ( call me crazy )
I believe I got One for my Summon Necro, one for the Summon Warlock & one for my Frozen Orb Sorceress, WW Barb uses Warcries by himself so ofc he does not need it xD
