Single Player Idea to address Elephant in the room

It's just a save file love, It's not a third party program, and it doesn't modify your game files or client in any way. If you actually go to the saves folder for d2r you can see it's completely separate ("Saved Games" in your user folder, vs program files). The hero editors i've seen that are up to date for resurrected are fully web-based and not even programs you can download. There is no way for d2runewizard to touch your game files from within firefox. I totally get it if u don't want to use hero editor! But you won't get banned

I play mostly on b.net myself, but a big part of the enjoyment of singleplayer for me comes from the fact i'm probably never going to make an Enigma. I'm sure a lot of other people would say the same. It creates two different experiences that are enjoyable and challenging in different ways. You also can't get the 20 ears achievement in singleplayer. I don't think they should add an

Ear npc either, i think these are just sort of intrinsic properties of sp and i think the game is overall better because of it

First, you need to read people say. (About .sav file and how it work in SP)
In SP, Single player. It is solely on your computer, that you can offline play. Whether you use 3rd program or not, it doesnt matter.
Even if blizzard want to kill your account, it is impossible to stop you from play whatever version of your diablo 2 in Local computer.
You can even unplug your cable and still able to play it.
Some people play private server diablo with a lot fancy features, it is like this . Even if bz want to stop it, they cant do anything about that.



Second,
Online play, this part you need your main account follow by blizzard rule. As one purchase , they maintain every day. They actually have some right about stop you from play with no reason or whatever reason they make it. This is actually have some game lawsuit history . Go reference world of w.... , player sue blizzard every once a while. They feel their right invade, that world might be different because of monthly fee. Some right are more favor player.

Editing your save is not altering your game It doesn't change any file that blizzard distributes to you. A save file is not software. There is no third party programs involved It's not really a remarkable statement to say blizzard could ban you for any reason lol. There's no reason to believe they would exercise that on save editing any more than on making an Enigma in a

OP proposed "problem X", and submitted "potential solution Y". All of the comments were referencing the validity of Problem X and only one comment kinda-sorta reviewed Potential Solution Y. Unless I missed another comment? Anyways, OP's original ask was our opinions on Potential Solution Y. We need to approach our responses with the assumption that Problem X is a given. Our opinions on Problem X are irrelevant in this thread. To OP it is a problem. The great thing about feelings is they aren't wrong. What someone feels isn't wrong.
