Made this post because I was curious if anyone else still plays the classic LoD anymore?
If so, what are your reasons?
For me, I sometimes like to take a break from the modern graphics of d2r and go back to where it all began, and take in the sights and sounds as I stroll nostalgia lane.
It also helps that whenever I'm away from home for a long time, I can use my work laptop to play the old version.

The original diablo? I used to play it still a little while ago. Got tired of how poorly the D2R was coded up, has so many issues and many most likely never get fixed.
Its the nostalgia which brings me back to the original diablo 2. Something about it just hits the right nerve in a good way.
I like to play my old d2 Lod chars on it, which i never transfered to d2r offline because otherwise, i cant play them coop via LAN with my best friend.
