BTW: Am I missing the obvious trick about how to pick a new anni up? I always run back to town, put my original anni into the shared stash and then return to the corpse ... is it really that cumbersome?

That's the only way really, unless you kill him without your Anni equipped. I use Arcane WP to fight him (Palace Celler lvl 3 from Arcane WP), so I usually kill, TP to stash, return to grab Anni, go back to Arcane through portal and take WP back to Act 1 to swap them (so I start the next run in Act 1 again).TeleTabitha wrote: 3 days agoBTW: Am I missing the obvious trick about how to pick a new anni up? Make an ES warlock, it's comically easy. I tried so hard to beat with my blizz/orb sorc years ago and only killed him once.
I kill him with a swole Fury: Skill druid. I stash his anni and he can still swing his two-hander.

Easy! Load up your game and wait in town until he pops, then go find him and kill him! Most people use Frigid Highlands or Arcane Sanctuary waypoint to find him (if arcane, go in portal to cellar and he is there.) He replaces the first superunique you come across.
