You can only have 1 colossal jewel equipped at a time. Similar to torches and annis.

Got curious and tested this today. No matter whether you're looking to use the same jewel multiple times or different ones once each, the outcome is the same:
- You can't put more than 1 of them into the same item
- You cannot equip more than 1 item with a jewel in it
- You cannot circumvent the above via weapon set swapping
