If you see dolls - Prepare to be 1 shot
If you see souls - Prepare to be hosed.
If you see Lords - Prepare to be gang banged.
If you are LR before poping

Infector of Souls - Prepare to be Thanos snapped.

You're not the only one. Many of these deaths are so dumb, lol. Some peak streamer hubris. Most of them are not even speedrunners, why do they risk so much? Crappy resistances, offensive Teleports, reading chat in risky situations, ignoring dangerous auras etc.
They should start to play a much more difficult game like PoE. With this risk-management they wouldn't last one hour.

Seriously, though: I think this is a leftover of some bad design decisions. Some here might remember in D2 LoD v1.11 those

Iron Maiden curses in Act 4. It would absolutely insta kill any physical build.

Game can be hard without being unfair, but in the end I still find Diablo 2 one of the best ARPGs out there.

I saw it on Discord in The War Room. Previously "War Th3ory," now WarTheWise, who plays HC lost his sorceress in a rather dramatic ending. I copied the vieo at 15 fps, and made a GIF. When the video showed up I was surprised to see that WarTheWise's Sorc wasn't included. So I made Screenshot and Shopped his image onto it. Somehow I don't think he appreciated as much as I had hoped?

I like the old MooMooClips videos a lot. Seeing reactions to HC deaths as well as nice finds and just other weird stuff is always fun.

I cannot play Hardcore at all, die in A1 always..

Lots of them are not even carrying Rejuvenation Potions. Not even in Hell where lots of these potions drop. Have they noticed how slow healing potions are?
Are they playing this game for the first time, now that RotW is out?

Remember the good old days of how the 'fire enchanted' boss mod used to work? It would often trigger when an attack animation occurred (even if no hit resulted), as well as through the elemental damage auras, and was based on the monster's life. Fire enchanted +

Holy Fire aura could one-shot you from two screens away, regardless of your resists and damage reduction, and you'd never see what killed you. Fighting the ancients, where

Talic always spawned fire enchanted and had an obscene life pool, ugh. It was nigh suicidal.

Tomb vipers in

Halls of Vaught get an honorable mention, but as these could be handily dealt with by equipping moderate PDR, they didn't have the same cheese factor as the FE bug.

yeah they simply moved those packs to the level above
