Is it just me, or is the economy absolute trash this season?
Why are annis trading at 2+

Also, drops seem super nerfed. I've done 12+hrs of Hell Cows, and have yet to see anything more than a

Rant over because it's super anecdotal, but I can't remember the last time the economy was this bad.

Also, no decent uniques. I don't mean shakos and arachs, but even stupid stuff like

Tearhaunch. WTF.

Idk about ladder drops but a week ago during NL I managed to find a

Ber during cow runs so I assume just a bad luck streak?

NL is great. I hopped on, found 3 lems and an

Um farming

Arcane Sanctuary.

Also bases. Took me forever to find a crappy Insight base.

Its not just torches, its everything. RotW brought MANY retired players back to the game. These new players want all the core items, anni, torches,

Shako, Enigma, etc. Driving up the prices. Demand is high.

I can't speak for your drops other than RNG is a fickle bitch. But for the higher market prices for core items, it's the higher player count than normal.

The ROTW economy is just whacky as ****, and I hate it. What is frustrating, in a way, is unless you have Warlock goods for sale, you are

Sol. If you do have Warlock, enjoy the party. If you are looking for Warlock items, expect to pay an arm, leg, and your future.

I can sell Warlock torch within a minute, weeks now nobody gives a bleep about all the others. If you have an item that can be used for a Warlock (like 3os AP) then congrats. Find a +3 GMD 4os, again good luck selling that.

If you want a Sunder, then it gets really depressing. Want a

Bone Break Renewed, mortgage your house. Jahs are not enough, better have 3/20/20s to trade for them. In the end its kind of frustrating. Sometimes you can get lucky though, a few people are going whacky crazy for PAMES because they want a +2/20 Warlock ammy that they know will set them up for life. So they will overpay. Time is coming soon I will be playing lot less, so I am hoping when I return back in late fall things will be normal. Worst part of this all, keysets which is what I do, trade for them like crazy in the past, are now ridiculously priced, and have priced me out.

Speaking as someone who came back for the 1st time since d2r pre-ladder days, it's certainly interesting.

Some things are moving pretty decently, but also, I can definitely see that it's mostly Warlock gear that has any market mobility. Some BiS for niche builds on other characters is not really doing a lot and just sitting on market and dropping price in order to move.

I'm deliberately not relying on trading this ladder. Just working on gear I pick up for the Warlock. I had an inkling this would be the case/scenario. I think everyone is just going to have to wait for the Warlock

Frenzy to close up a bit. The bubble will burst especially when the devs nerf the Warlock's play style/etc.

Getting an

Ist for anni is actually quite good trade. Annis are worthless unless they are perfect/very near perfect. Personally laying out free annihiluses constantly if there are any in the storage and usually there are a bunch around as I wont get perfect rolls of anything.

I offered a BK Statue for a dumb anni. They didn't want it lol.
I usually throw annis away or hand them out like candy.

Even trying to trade for non-WL items is a PITA. Nobody wants to sell torches or other stuff, it's crazy.

Hah, I can give you anni for BK statue If oyu still need.
But in overall, I agree with DwPvsZtO, We just need to wait next season. When Warlock will be nerfed and less playes will be in game.
For example, I have char on LoD (not warlock DLC) and there trading is real, everyone trying to gead up at somehow.

I'm rank #18 for my class (Druid) on ladder. With the same experience on Warlock, my rank would sit around #7601. The game (w/ the launch of RotW) has less diversity than feudal Europe.

I freakin hate trading in this game at the best of times, and have been dishing/handing out anything that I don't want for current or impending char builds to avoid the bananas economy and people's nuts expectations. Set pieces,+2sk helms and amus I've made or found, fcr rings with okay +Res rolls, uniques I've got dupes of that are spenny and useful, had 2 ariocs (+2/+3), nice rolled pally shields,

Eth CV's and other weapons. So overall the items have been coming in but the ick of the Econ drove me off engaging. That and the

Herald/sunder mechanics has made multiplayer games pretty consistently gross to be part of too, with some feral behaviour and "gimme gimme" attitudes.

Finding decent runes in the wild on the other hand, has been unrewarding.

Keys and statue online lobby name game trades got me the rest, but they stack real nicely so I don't have to juggle stash of "valuable" items. Traded my perfect roll Spirit
