Next time, make sure you desummon any demons before entering the Uber Tristram portal (except your bound demon, of course - I mean the Goatmen, Tainted and Defilers). The Defilers in particular will pretty much always aggro Mephisto instantly and his Skeleton magi adds will start attacking while you're still loading in. Hmm, does that happen with Hephasto? I had Heph and my merc. Maybe with a certain aura? Because I summoned Tainted and consumed in town right before jumping in portal. Out of 30-40 Uber Tristram runs I've done this season so far, I think Hephasto and/or the merc has aggroed Mephisto like 2 or 3 times. Very interesting. Donāt recall ever having that issue on my pally years back. The Holy Fire/Shock/Freeze auras are also probable culprits. But both Hephasto and the merc can start running around like maniacs immediately upon entering a new area. I've had my merc aggro Mephisto with a Smiter too while loading in, but it's fairly rare I think.
