I used to play D2LoD on PC back in the day. I remember the bots, most annoying the Spambots joining and spamming the channel with ads for buying items at various sites.
Now I am playing on PS5 and I'm curious if it is possible to use bots on console (PS, Xbox). Not that I want to, I imagine it is not as easy as on PC
Sometimes I join Baalruns that seem to be run by bots....
Where has it been said that D2R adjusted HR drops?
I was referring to in comparison to old D2 LOD (circa 2003-2010). In that era I never once saw a HR drop. Last ladder I found Cham, Ohm, 2x Jah, and about 4x Vex. I have seen comments for some time about HR drops increasing in D2R vs D2, and nobody argued or dispelled this as a rumor. So I just take it from comments and experience that HR drop rates were increased.
Closest I ever came in D2 for a HR a Lo dropped, and a Sorc swooped in to grab it + I was too slow to react. The *$&# player was just standing around leeching from us to wait for drops. Count that as reason #831,900 that I despise shared loot.

That is interesting idea. I agree with you that it is not easy on console.
And that is another extreme vs D2R PC market.
Like PS , or HC, market is completely different pricing. I know there is bridge between pc and ps but still , it is like LoD rotw, the bridge exist but not every merchant are actively move goods around to balance pricing. Especially hc, people who like bot free world can enjoy there. Others feel ok to live with some extent of people around you is AI, likely 30%?
Please be aware, all my trade is in non ladder d2r. Not warlock.
Where has it been said that D2R adjusted HR drops?
Indirectly, by TZs, which made high TCs much more common. And also by power creep, making farming easier.
Rune drops were also increased in 1.13 (2010).
Where has it been said that D2R adjusted HR drops?
It didn't.
But D2:LoD did (massively) in patch 1.13 - high runes became much more common in 1.13. This patch came out March 2010, which was very late in D2:LoD's lifecycle. (almost 9 years after LoD release, a mere 2 years before D3)
D2R on release was based on the last D2:LoD patch which is 1.14 and kept the same drop rates as that patch.
I'm guessing a lot of returning players never played 1.12+ (Uber Tristram was added in 1.11 in 2005, patch 1.12 came out 2008)
