Also, the old sunder charms were removed from RotW.

Do you mean that old sunders will disappear when moving a character to ROTW, or do they simply no longer drop?

They no longer drop in RotW. If you have any from pre-RotW and move it forward by converting a character, it doesn't poof or anything, it remain as is and works as intended. It just cannot be used to craft the new renewed sunder charms, because it's not the same item. Old sunder were simply called "

Flame Rift", whereas the new ones (that drop) are called "

Latent Flame Rift". Functionally identical (for the sundering effect and the negative effect on your own resistance), but technically different items. The old ones you bring forward to RotW don't change name, they keep their old name ("

Flame Rift", as an example). The crafting recipes only work with the new ones.
