Description

Bane's Authority is the
Belt set piece of Bane's Garments, one of the new additions in RotW.

Comes with +10% Faster Cast Rate and +20 life which are both tremendously useful for the level requirement.

One of only 4 belts to offer faster cast rate, the others being
Arachnid Mesh,
Gheed's Wager,
Tal Rasha's Fine Spun Cloth (which requires 3 set pieces for the +10% FCR), and crafted Caster Belts.

Given the high level requirement (level 80 and 71, respectively) and expense/rarity of
Arachnid Mesh and
Gheed's Wager,
Tal Rasha's requiring level 53 and 3 set pieces to be equipped for the FCR bonus, and the time & expense of crafting a worthwhile
Caster Belt,
Bane's Authority presents a very useful option in slot for casters seeking to hit the highest FCR breakpoints, particularly in the early game stages.
