Annihilus Charm: What do you like most about this charm?

Hey all,

What do you all think are the best points of the

Annihilus Charm. What makes the Anni valuable to you? Is it:

The plus one to skills?
Is it the plus to all resistances?
is it the plus to all attributes?
Or are you a person that appreciates that 10% experience bonus?

The

Annihilus is a Hero Charm in my book. I play hardcore, so I value the plus to all resistances the most.

I'm probably the only one but I don't like it.
I think it's totally overpowered. You would use it if it had only one of these properties and it would still be OP. Compare it to what else is out there. Skiller charms take 3x the space and only offer 1 skill tree. Small charms can come with 2 to one stat, not 10 to all. I mean, why? It's ridiculous! They could have made it a random one of these properties so that you have to choose. Same with hellfire Torches. Unnecessary powerful.

But to answer your question: The +1 skill, since I'm mainly playing casters and kill speed is the thing I value most. Then the res, it gives options to optimize the rest of the gear to further increase the kill speed. Then the attributes, that's just 40 life and some mana on sorc. That's what you'd get from 2 regular small charms.

For rushers, the exp is probably the most valuable. For me, I don't really notice whether I have to spend 60 minutes or 54 minutes in

Baal runs to get from lvl 89 to 90. It's still boring a.f. so better watch a show on the 2nd screen.

Thanks for the response. So you pretty much agree with me. Aside from that I do enjoy the charms.

I remember getting my first

Hellfire Torch... The battles were not pretty. (Especially, the

Matron's Den) Though with practice, knowing the foes and the Hellfire and

Annihilus charms, these battles are better fought and completed.

Luckily my first ani was perfect, so now I share it with my Sorc. when I farm and with my Pal. who I prepare for torches.

stupid question.
if they added the option of cubing 3 for a new roll would be nice. there's a ton of them wasting space on my stash, I give one to any noob I find but they keep pilling up on the stash lol.

Some people have all the luck. I have over a hundred Anni's and my best is still one point off perfect. The rest are at least 3 from perfect.

That's a great idea, question and recommendation for Blizzard. I would like to re-roll them. Your idea of using 3

Annihilus to get a new set of stats... I like this idea (a lot). As I'm sure, that many of us have more than one

Annihilus charm in our stash.

I love re-rolling magic small charms to get 451 PSDs. I love re-rolling magic grand charms to get high end skillers. This game rocks.
