I did see you had a ladder only runewords giveaway years ago and I was gonna message there in hopes that you may revise the clause. Obviously I would donate to the cause but can only via means of non-ladder currently.

Yeah, I have done big ladder-only rune word giveaways twice in the past, but it's been a while since. Both times I had a lot of expendable Wealth to burn before reset. I don't this time because I haven't played this ladder season as actively as in the past, so I won't be able to do it again for this reset anyway. It takes weeks of intense trading to acquire all the runes (turning higher runes into lower runes) and bases needed to set something up on that scale - lately I've mostly been supplying my long running "Make Your Own Build" giveaway. But I might do a ladder-only rune word giveaway again, just not this upcoming reset.

Anyway - I'll get back to you about that potential Cure (don't get your hopes up too much until you hear back from me lol).

I got my hopes up more for the ladder runeword giveaway, sound more like the community driven clause that I would love to be a part of. If this thread sparked that back up then it would all be worth it seriously, I got 26

Ist. I’ve been saving random jewels so I got a bunch of those. I also recycle rings and amulets so I have a bunch of +3 to various skills but I don’t if they’re worth anything. But I donate all that in hopes to make your quest of resource for next season ending to hopefully help a bit. Seems like everyone here could double my donation easily. me and my wife would work towards increasing that stockpile also over the course of the next season, she might even be willing to start a ladder chat with me to generate some resource on the ladder side

How about you make the Cure and add it to your give aways? There are many people who would want one and a raffle seems more fair than giving it the loudest kid.

See I’m getting pissed off again. I never asked for free anything. That’s something that everyone here assumes. Shadow heart just demonstrated that they’re are people with this stuff that would just toss if they didn’t know and would totally accept two

Ist for cause he can use them for his non-ladder endeavors. Honestly if he doesn’t give it to me no big deal. I guess I should’ve just asked him from the start but didn’t want to assume that everyone who has helped me in the past to help me everytime I need something.

You seem kind of a mean-spirited and self-righteous type of person. You should be downright grateful that there are still people happy to help you despite the arrogance and condescension you have shown to me and others. We didn't deserve that mean treatment from you, and you certainly don't deserve this kind treatment from some of the really gracious people on here who are willing to help provide what you need.

never thought I would be able to try out Hustle on a merc but definitely sounds appealing, I know that 3 socket

Giant Thresher is pretty rare given you have to find it or cube sockets hoping for three. And can only be found as SUP. That does seem like an item worth giving for a community event. After this experience I really do wanna see more emphasis of people bringing ladder items to non ladder for charity rather than profit

I never said "free". So you are getting angry for assuming that I assumed something.
But it's true that I assume that Shadow Heart would give it out for free since he/she(?) always does it like that.

Communication is a complex thing, especially on international forums. Apologies for making you pissed at me, that was not my intention.

The main reason for this whole dilemma is that you were underestimating the value of Cure and I made quite some effort to explain to you why Cure is more valuable than just the runes.

I don't think that "bad behavior" should be rewarded. And even though you don't see it like that, many here find that how you responded has been bad behavior. You can read your texts, reflect, and maybe reconsider. I don't say you are at fault but you have been part of why this thread escalated.

Nobody here wants to have a toxic argument. The main reason why people here are angry is because of the perceived toxicity.

Let's all just chill out a bit.

Alright guys, I think we can stop with this back and forth - it isn't going to lead anywhere - and try to stay on topic instead. There's been some misunderstandings and overreations here, I think we can all agree on that and leave it at that. It doesn't really matter who said what - I understand the urge to defend oneself against what one feels is unfair representation of what was said or meant, but at this point it's better to just agree to disagree and move on.

Back on topic now, the forum isn't meant for trading or setting up trades if I'm not mistaken. If he really wanted to know who has item X laying around to trade, he should've just created a WTB trade. I don't think we should encourage people to make forum posts demanding item X or item Y and then giving it to them for free (or on the cheap), especially after the way this thread has gone sour, but that's just my 2 cents. Of course I can't stop people from giving him a freebie or a good deal despite all that.

And look, KOKUSHO0735, I get it, I too was very frustrated when I realized. It was especially annoying because I started out on ladder and decided to keep playing non-ladder afterwards. Guess when I found about the ladder-only runewords? Guess what runewords I didn't make while I was playing ladder before that? I was too poor to afford them on non-ladder, so I had to make a new ladder character and get them myself. It sucked at the time but it paid off in the end. It is what it is.

Look out of respect of the moderator this conversation should end here. Especially the topic if I deserve ladder only gear or not, This is no longer a reach to find some ladder-only runewords myself, though that is the goal it has evolved. I really hope and I urge shadow heart to run the ladder only giveaway in march or April. If he doesn’t have the time then I’ll push for the following season, we will devote our time to helping him accumulate as much as possible to give away. I will get some and so will many others

So if this does happen I hope all of you contribute what you can, and just know we will be donating everything to help him
