The mobile game monthly 50-100 per month, even for teenager, that is very common. In asia, pay player, It is average case for people want to play it quick without spend too much time. And I feel you are right in some way so I quit spend that way.Trang Oul wrote: 1 week ago
Jesus... Anyone who spends that much on mobile games has a lack of control over his spending, and likely needs a therapy.
Top tier of that game is usually , in my guess, top 10% spender , 300 . (exclude 1-10)
JP today is around 5000 Y gift card(around 60-80) , TW / Kor is around 70-140 for age 18-25. Teenager is kind of bad. I see 'some' in rank 5-10 spender.
I know that people read post here generally consider older. The thing is today's development, is focus on use development force on who pays more with less cost.(90s is winner take all, it's more friendly env today for developer. But certainly we cant see good work but ok game today)
If we dont focus that much on pay play today.
Let's switch focus to other that I lately watch, some manipulate that I feel, Cham, Jah rune, I notice some manipulate price weeks ago. I see some of my TW friend get around 20% profit in those trade. Much earlier story before I notice, is Zod, Cham before some patch. Some big player here, they really need very big storage for things have high value. They tell me, they buy thing on 140 storage base / per unit.
Favor Perfect Amethyst over Perfect Skull...
These days, I don't need that much Perfect Skull, it is less encourage to pay in Perfect Skull but it will treat slightly better than Perfect Gems.

It means you will add at leas 2 more skillers in your inventory. Even 3 if you think about town portal book.
SauROnmiKE wrote: 1 week agoYeah you can have as many charms as in vanilla D2 AND a whole inventory left for hoarding. That beats the purpose of having to balance charms/space of the existing system. You can call it QoL, I call it excessive and making the game even easier than it already is by having even less to think about. It's like we're moving even more to an "auto-pilot" system rather than actually having any input and different decisions for different play styles.
There is no balance in "inventory tetris". It's only an annoyance since the introduction of charms. Players have already chosen. Just look at any random Maxroll guide. If you have to choose between power and convenience, you always choose power. That's how games work. And how am I supposed to play a farming game, if I am not able to pick up any item? Have the inventory opened (=half of the screen covered), click on the item, put it in the cube and only then identify it - one item at a time? It's already inconvenient in SP, and good luck doing it in a Baalrun, where everyone plays a melee build.
And I'm not even mentioning PvP, where you need to be minmaxed to the extreme, so even the cube and TP tome needs to go. This is a flawed system, which should be fixed.
We agree to disagree! Still seems extremely excessive to have an extra inventory, it is what it is.Trang Oul wrote: 1 week agoTornado_OLO wrote: 1 week agoNot only.

And personally I don't choose power, nor do I have to pick up every single item in the game. I put the interesting ones in the cube, leave 8 slots in the inventory for other stuff too, finish a few areas and go back to identify, unless I find a scroll. There is absolutely no reason to keep picking and picking. If you're a hoarder, that's a "you" issue.
Edit: the "you" doesn't go directly to you, but to the hoarding thing in general

I'm glad that you are not one of the mixmaxers (and I am not too; I also leave 4×2 slots for at least one item).SauROnmiKE wrote: 1 week agoAnd personally I don't choose power, nor do I have to pick up every single item in the game. But the majority of players are. And because "given the opportunity, players will optimize the fun out of a game", "one of the responsibilities of the designer is to protect players from themselves".
That's why I wish the devs protected us and gave us a proper charm inventory
Long-running poll on this with ~5k votes:
Link to poll
Take with a pinch of salt because the question includes stash tabs AND character slots of course.
But yeah - 75% would buy these if they became available...

I totally agree with that quote, that's why I made the "autopilot" comment before. Most games are anyway like that, click here, wait, as less brain input as possible.Trang Oul wrote: 1 week agoI'm glad that you are not one of the mixmaxers (and I am not too; I also leave 4×2 slots for at least one item).SauROnmiKE wrote: 1 week agoAnd personally I don't choose power, nor do I have to pick up every single item in the game. That's why I wish the devs protected us and gave us a proper charm inventory. Or, if that 1/2/3 extra skillers are an issue, dedicated slots for unique charms and, say, 4×5 space for magic charms.
And although I wouldn't be a fan of a dedicated charm inventory, one just for the uniques sounds better.

BTW (not sure if anyone has mentioned it already, couldn't see it when browsing this thread): The empty space for potential new tabs only shows in modern graphics at this point, not in classic graphics mode.

The controller UI looks the same as always.
lol! I should get the old trackball mouse out to see if it's a """"""L-A-S-E-R"""""" related thing!DasNarf wrote: 5 days agoAnd it only shows in mouse mode.fraggykrueger wrote: 5 days agoBTW (not sure if anyone has mentioned it already, couldn't see it when browsing this thread): The empty space for potential new tabs only shows in modern graphics at this point, not in classic graphics mode.

How do you purchase/use additional accounts? For me the Blizzard page just says i already have the game.TheDoo wrote: 1 week agovued wrote: 1 week agoI'd actually prefer an option to buy extra stash over having to use mules. Mules are stupid. You basically get 25 mules for 40$ or for 14$ at a discount. A mule has 140 stash spaces.TheDoo wrote: 1 week agoIf we know anything about Blizzard we can expect:
"NOW, exclusively, only for $99.99 you can buy one-time +2 tabs addition for your characters to enjoy having even more stuff" followed by shutting down servers for good in ~6 months. xd
So it would translate to 1$ per shared stash which I'd consider a fair price.
Making d2r free to play and monetizing via shared stash space would be good for players and for blizzard. It's so intuitive I'm surprised Blizzard is not doing it.
I, as someone who already has 4 accounts (well 3 of my own and my father's on which he's using only 5 slots) would for sure buy more tabs or more character slots if they were available, but only for a reasonable price. So I'm not opposing you or saying that you are wrong, I just cracked a joke but also kinda said what we're all thinking.
Big however, mules could still be used for a proper runs/grind/experiments or whatever you need while additional stash tabs are just there for convenience reasons.
P.S. I bought all of my other accounts via discounts, only the main one was bought during full price (it was literally day 1 of D2R IIRC).
In Diablo 3 players can buy additional stash tabs for in-game Gold. What a great idea.
