Well, technically it wasn't the First Day of Christmas, but a while ago I watched "Zarfen the Lootgoblin" and was hooked back into D2:R. I hadn't played D2 since several years.

One day after I played it again, I killed Diablo. And all of a sudden, this strange Diablo appeared in the

Chaos Sanctuary "Diablo has invaded Sanctuary". I had no idea what had happened, but obviously I went for him to take him down. It's what we do in Diablo after all, isnt'it? If it moves or flies - it dies.

Well, it didn't. Sure, static-field made short work of his life. Until he was at half HP. And from then own, he regenerated faster than I managed to get him down.

And then I remembered that - lucky me - I had an

Edge Bow in my inventory for gambling. And Edge has "prevents monster heal" - so I tried it again. And it worked. Slowly, but surely. And then I got my very first Anni. My most awesome find, because it was BY FAR the longest and hardest fight I ever had in the game.


To celebrate this event, I want to give away 2 free

Terror, but obviously I can't afford 22 runes^^)

After playing D2 for 20 years, I actually just beat dclone for the first time ever last week! I'll throw in a guess of 38!
