Terror Zones not loading

I have the occasional issue where I won't have a TZ in my game when I load. If it happens I'll go to the lobby and create a game with the TZ box checked and I'll get TZ's in game. If I exit the lobby game then just load a game without the lobby, then I'll get the TZ in game. However, sometimes this doesn't work and I can't get the TZ unless I create a game from the lobby.

Anyone have a similar issue?

Is this happening all with the same character or with different ones?

Various characters both ladder and nonladder. All softcore.

I don't have the issue on single player.

And you're trying to make a TZ game with a character who is eligible to make a TZ for that difficulty?

Yes. Already cleared hell, sometimes the TZ's come up, sometimes they don't.

Interesting, I've never experienced that. I guess make games from the lobby? This game is riddled with bugs.

That's what I've been doing and it sometimes works, but sometimes doesn't. I mostly notice it when switching back and forth between characters.

You probably won't like it, but another possible option is to reinstall the game.

My friend has had the exact same issue. One time he created a game through the lobby with TZ OFF. This seems to transfer over when you just hit "Play" on the main menu.

When he clicked on the game setting in the main menu, the TZ option was OFF. But he also had that issue that you mentioned, that even if TZ were ON (no matter if it was through lobby or through main menu), the TZ would not work.

Reinstall did not help either unfortunately.

I experience similar issue sometimes on PC as well, where if i load a game from the character screen and select hell, i sometimes wouldnt get tz enabled, it always work if i go to the lobby and check the tz checkbox to create a game.

Normally i can resolve this by creating tz zone game via the checkbox in thr lobby, then exit and check the lobby again to confirm th tz zone checkbox is checked, if so, if so i would exit the lobby and try to make a room from the character screen, this seems to work for me but i dont know if this is the actual method to temporarily fix this tz not initializing.

But yeah this doesnt bother me much, as in the case end, it seems to resolve itself.

You probably won't like it, but another possible option is to reinstall the game.

That's a possible last resort, but for now, as long as I can get them to work with some effort, I'm not going the reinstall route.
