Before I take off on this forum (because I am already pretty established you'll find out), allow me to ask a few questions.

Is this forum active? What's up? Because I tried another forum (I do not want to advertise), and let's just say it ran its course.

And is this all diablo 2 discussion including D2R?

This site is dedicated to D2R, all the information in the database is D2R-based (when there are differences between D2R and D2/LoD, you will only find the D2R data here), but you are of course allowed to discuss D2/LoD pre-D2R in the forum as well!

Anyway... How does one measure activity? Or rather, what do you mean by whether it is active? It's not inactive, there are new posts every day. It's not as active as it was back when D2R released, but that's natural as the playerbase is smaller today than it was when D2R first launched. But I dunno what you would compare it with.

And yes, I'd say that this forum is 'decent', if by that you mean that there's very little toxicity or hostility compared to many other gaming communities. We try to keep discussions civil over here. We're all (well, most of us) adults who played D2/LoD as kids/teenagers.

I don't know who you are, but I'm sure you'll fit in here, if you want to stick around

Still playing from time to time and active on this page! Tough I'm not a base RPG player myself I mostly play other games. I still log on and enjoy

It's comfy here

I try to play other games, but I keep coming back. I've been enjoying Resurrected quite a bit. I like RPG Action games in general and played a lot of them throughout the years: Sacred, Nox, Darkstone, Titan Quest, Grim Dawn, etc. and even unknown ones like Space Hack and Loki.

But nothing is like Diablo. I play a couple of hours each week, and much more when I am on leave.

I like it here. The members are a good mix of veterans and newcomers. It's active enough to be engaging but not too active that the forum is flooded and you lose oversight.

Trades might take some more time and it's hard to sell high value items but if you prioritize fun over performance, you will be at the right place.

Being an IT professional myself, I'm also very impressed by how well this site is made. Small features here and there make it so much more enjoyable than other trading sites.

As already mentioned, toxicity is really low in the forum.

If you are aiming for a top 10 spot on ladder, a super competitive PvP player, or are trying to become the "richest" D2R player of all time, other forums are better suited for you.

Here, we are just having fun.

This. This 100%. The only reason ive played the last two season even has been because I stumbled upon this damned website. I would of have never played d2r that much lately. But now I chose not to go for this season. Im just waiting for that idiotic Mosaic to be nerfed, its just so stupid runeword and have had no interest in playing anymore after it released.
