I honestly don't like crafted amulets, although I may be in the minority. It's really hard to beat a perfect Mara's, and that also boosts CTA in addition. A perfect Spirit/Hoto/Arach's/
Magefist
is already enough imo to hit the 80/105 breakpoint for palas/sorcs. I guess you could want the 125 for a pala but I don't really think it's worth it, to each their own however.
I also prefer
Mara's Kaleidoscope
personally (most of the time), but there are more cases than what you listed where an FCR amulet is necessary;
- If you want to make a 200 FCR sorc.
- If you want to self-wield Infinity as a sorc with
Nova
Ormus' Robes
and at least one
The Stone of Jordan
(two for optimized damage) and still hit the 105 FCR breakpoint.
- If you want to hit the 163 FCR breakpoint as a
Tornado
Druid with Enigma.
- If you want to hit the 102 FCR breakpoint as a Fire Traps Assassin with Enigma (you will want to have some -res on weapon and/or shield over FCR).
(and probably some more cases I didn't think of)
That's fair, I admit my ignorance on most classes outside Palas and Sorcs, whic are usually the classes that want FCR the most. Didn't think of self-wield Infinity in all honesty, but definitely agree there. I still think I'd prefer a 10fcr ring over a crafted amu in that case even if 2 SoJs are optimal (assuming Griffons/
Magefist
/Arach), I'd also prefer Vipermagi over
Ormus
for the FCR, but that's me of course.

The bottom line is for me at least 1
Jah
for a perfect Maras is way better than 10 for a crafted FCR amulet, as the other 9 can easily go into building out other characters.

Yeah there's definitely specific use-cases to take advantage of the higher FCR a
Caster Amulet
can provide. Which makes it that more difficult to craft a useful one.

Necromancer Europe PC
Side note : the class that MAY be the one actually needing the most a 2/20 amulet can also be the necromancer, the 125 breakpoint is not really easy to achieve if you choose any route different than HotO + Spirit.

That's why i stopped crafting
Caster Amulet
this season.
Far too random : waste of time / ressources ^^
Anyway, congrats on your craft

Best way is to craft until limit to get at least 1 valuable item. Trade for this and go on. Rewards are fine. Also consider Blood Items.

The Dark Lord shall vanish into hell.
Prince of Devils shall believe.
Darkness turning to light.
Thanks to the savior.
Holy Angel of Heaven.
The Immortal Master may rise.
