Infinity is a very expensive runeword. I suggest you make another important runeword with 4 sockets. Also suggest that you spend the 2 Ber runes with other important runewords, if you don't have yet, such as Enigma and Chains of Honor. Focus in have the runewords, than you try reroll. But, if you already have the important runewords that uses Ber, you can try reroll the Infinity.

Thanks for the input. I haven't been playing online characters for over a year (that cost me quite a few of community dclone runs), and I just recently resumed without making a general inventorization first. Your response encouraged me to do so, and it turned out I've got Enigma and CoH rune word armors for multiple characters. Heck, I even have another ethereal Thresher based Infinity on my level 46 lightning sorceress. That weapon got -48% to enemy lightning resistance and a marginally higher 265% ED. Not sure when I could get that sorc to the high enough level to use it on the merc, considering I don't play in public games online, but I can certainly try it on the trapsin's merc to see if it makes any difference, as the pure damage on the Thresher Infinity is higher than on the Giant Thresher one. I've also found another 4os ethereal Thresher queued up, and a 5os ethereal CA. The latter could be a great Destruction merc weapon. Thanks again, mate!

The -res is irrelevant for the merc. The lightning proc does barely any damage, 45% or 55% -res won't make a real difference. My first Infinity actually rolled anti-perfect 255% ED in Eth Thresher. I wasn't too pleased at first but honestly now I don't feel the need to reroll. Maybe if I had nothing left to spend Ber runes on. I think, unless you're using Infinity for summoner necro merc, ED does not really matter because most builds will be killing 99% of the monsters anyway and the merc is just there as a walking aura and to keep some of the mobs busy and distracted. Don't forget there's also 40% crushing blow on there. But if you have a few Ber to spare and have no other (future) use for them and you would like to forget about this poor ED roll and you don't mind the possibility of getting another bad ED roll, I'd say go ahead and do it. At least it's hard to end up with a worse roll in this case.

I gambled a nice dual leech ring. The Jah rune dropped from a terrorized Andariel. The Executioner's Justice, with perfect 290%ED,dropped from the same Andariel runs.

i found the screenshot i took on the 9th of April '25, when Terrorized Mephisto dropped me a Sunder Charm as well as a Ber Rune.
I couldn't find much info on how rare that was, i think there was a guy that killed Mephisto 10.000 times for a youtube video and wrote down all the drops, and he only got a single Ber rune; but i'm pretty sure my Luck peaked at that moment and will never come close to that ever again.
Just wanted to share that with someone before i forget about the screenshot again for a year

ca. 6-8 runs and 3x Key of Hate (no double Key). Best ratio I had so far.
