So I’ve been toying with some different set ups on my bowazon. With the help of Fanaticism on a MB base, allows me to easily hit the needed IAS break point, so it frees up some gear slots… I’m thinking gloves since most other slots are practically required ( Razortail, gores).
Outside of crafted gloves and Laying of Hands, what are some solid options on gloves? Steelrend worth the cost of buying a pair?

If you're a physical bowzon, physical immune monsters are tough to beat.
Lava Gout, even though it has 20ias that you don't need, really helps with those immunes. The fire dmg plus CtC Enchant brings a nice QoL improvement.
Dracul's Grasp can help for survivability
Soul Drainer is another overlooked option. But if you don't need the IAS the dual leech and CtC Weaken is fun.

I'm willing to accept other forms of currency. Like Tokens, Keys, Perfect Gems, and certain minor runes in lieu of my asking price. I'm also willing to accept rune combinations that add up to my asking price.
Steelrend is good but cost a lot of points in STR.
Lava Gout is excelent due to Enchant, along with 20% IAS.
If you don't have a Giant Skull a hit power glove with IAS is excelent.
As for belts, a Nosferatu's Coil is an excelent option for a physical bowzon due to IAS, LL and slow enemies.

Crushing Blow on missile weapons doesn't really matter, unless you can hit very high % chance (90%+ or G-face + Witchwild + Gores) which you will most definitely not have, and for that you get pitiful 6% of current life after each trigger on enemies that matter -- champions/bosses (and with 90%+ you are making sure it's triggering almost every time).
If you are teleporting with Enigma you might want to slap more FCR so something like Trang's or Magefist could be useful to you. Magefist's +1 to all fire skills also affect Zon's fire bow skills, so that is little bonus. Other than that either use 3/20s or 2/20s with some other useful mods like res/stats.
I would highly suggest to use Act 2 Merc with Insight because it completely eliminates all problems around mana especially if you are having elemental bowazon. And if you add that to the Prayer + Cure combo you can easily drop everything that is related to both leeches.

Steelrend , 60 ED is almost to equal to 15 STR, that gloves is around 25-40 STR gloves, if you are physical and monster are 1 bit before Death, this gloves is the one you need. I have this issue in other classes, any condition Steelrend solve my problem. The other is Immortal King forge, it is almost equalvent to 85% lowest roll of steellend. For amazon glove, you need to reconsider +2 skill+cb vs 25-40 STR( or 90-120 ED)which help you more.
Note, in the end , I add up my str to break damage breakpoint and choose any other special gloves for my run. When I Teleport, nec set gloves tragul. Need Enchant, lava...lava is also very good if your enemy is not fire immune, it will add most damage but I cant use it. My run it usually 4 min. It is suitable to player do full map run.

Hi dope topic, since im playing a Hardcore Bowa exclusively, ill give some input too.
What i noticed if you are using Atmas you dont really need the Bonebreak, atmas scarab will negate the immunity just takes bit longer to proc it.
Yall posted most of the combinations of gear gloves etc, whats cool about matrialchal bow is the flexibility when it comes to gear so that was my fist choice in picking the bow base.
Most people will do a Faith bow since its far superior in most situations.
I took another aproach tho, and made a elemental/phys bowa and Mist turned out to be the perfect bow for this on hc.
Damage spread looks like this (i dumped stats into vita and 40 points into Freezing Arrow and Exploding Arrow, 1 point into everything else and putting the remaining ones into Evade to offset the defence loss while moving)
Dmg Spread is 2k phys 2,8cold 2,5 fire ( 3x 10max and rest is +bow and a fire sunder )
she has just over 1600 life without buffs.
Have a total blast with her while taking advantage of her whole portfolio of skills. Had many bowas over the years and this one is the most elegant and fun for me so far.
For gear i went the following

Fortitude (massive armor and dmg boost)
Kira's Guardian with 15Ias jool for breakpoint (capping all res with this)
Verdungo's Hearty Cord (Life and DR)
Wisp Projector (for life boost, mf and Light absorbsion)

Mara's Kaleidoscope (for + skills and overcap in res since Lower Resistance exists)
+3 Bow / 20 Ias Gloves
Aldur's Advance (for the life and Fire res after sunder)
Harmony on switch (for zooming around)
Goal was to be super frickin tanky, she can farm everywhere and has some room to fiddle around like putting on a Giant Skull for Knockback, Silkweave for mana, Arachnid Mesh for more + skill, Goldwrap for magic find just to name a few combinations. Shes even good without any mercs so you can add anything you prefer

Just a little correction Bow Damage is affected by DEX not STR,

That is enough for my Strafe Zon to handle immunes 
(I have to admit the stone skin's uniques sometimes takes a little time
, but other immunes you do not notice any difference form regular monsters)

Regarding bowazon:
Remember to NEVER put any stat point into vitality! 658life is more than you need + you can always go with CtA off hand (I still dont recommend it)
And pay attention to AR ! Thats VERY important on bowa.
I havent and wont theory craft gear for standard BiS GMB fana 95IAS vs MB fana base with 95IAS - thats for you to do if you post results we can discuss it.
I do recommend MB base for elemental bowazon, but not for physical bowa.
I think difference in dmg between GMB and MB is just too big, which other gear wont get.
Steelrend: it looks good on paper, but due to high str req its imho bad idea. On my bowa I do have 16str and rest is dexterity. Keep in mind that 1dex = 1%ED, so by going for Steelrend you would need to put 77str instead of dexterity, which is 77%ED compare to perfect Steelrend which is 60%ED yes you will get 10% crushing blow, which is nice, but I think it still wouldnt be able to match Laying of Hands with +350%ED vs demons (ofc you fight other monsters than demons, but demons mostly).
Atma amulet is VERY nice for bowazon, but again we have to compare BiS gear - GMB vs MB and in amulet slot highlord vs Atma. Again I do think that GMB with highlord gives you more dmg than MB + Atma. If you go Windforce and merc with Faith, then Atma is really amazing - thats maximum dmg bowazon, but merc is merc and you will be mostly without fana aura in situations where u need it.
And regarding immunes: yes with Atma its faster because you can use Strafe or multishot, but bowazon has Magic Arrow which is enough to kill any phys immune monster (unless phys and magic immune, but those are rare so I wouldnt even consider it as problem).
On maxroll if I just change GMB base ( Guided Arrow DPS: 31.211) to MB ( Guided Arrow DPS: 26.226) using same gear. If you can get 5k DPS from gear concentrated around MB base then I think it would be better.

but the same link says that the bug is only for melee...Yes, it's bugged. It falls under Case 4 in the link that zweibl posted 'item has innate min dmg, you socket a jewel with ED'
so it seems OK for BowzonFine for anything ranged.
Bugged for any melee attacks.
