Then feel free to play the game you're referring to and keep it to yourself. People here want to play Diablo and are hoping for changes that could improve this game — not a completely different one. I don't understand why people always try to promote other games in forums that are dedicated to something else.

Nobody asked for PoE 2. People here want to play D2.

To be completely honest I love the way Act 4 is and especially loved it in the time before Expansion. It felt like a true ending -- "you are so close to the big bad finale", there aren't many more things to do just to clean up the core of evil (analogy would be going up the Mount of Doom and the last battle on Black Gates in LOTR) and all that culmination of the story all for that one...last...push! If not anything else, having only 3 quests and essentially 4 maps built that epicness meter to it's max (well, at least for me)! After the Expansion and onwards, yes, it feels kinda odd BUT it still has the same effect on me. Expansion is more like a "behind the curtain", extra spice and proper conclusion to the D1/D2 saga and I think they done a pretty great job.

I would love if they can improve the game a little bit more so it doesnt crash and i dont die while leveling 64 hardcore ladder character in the cow farm XD.

Of course adding those three more quests in Act 4 would be nice.
For example completing it you get to save runes from sockets.
Possibility to choose from different appearance of classes(hair color, male/female...

But in the end would be happy if they just fix stability of the game, seems to me it crashes a lot lately, but it could well be that the internet connection that i use in the 3rd world country is to blame XD.

that role, it is not enough to create something big. They will need super-strong one or 40-200 enginner to quickly create a6(with 5 portal) in 2025.

I received one of these emails on the focus group - which was the first I heard about this. I got the feeling that they wanted opinions from true heads that knew the game well so as to make changes/updates. I do not know anybody who plays D1 and I imagine this focus group would not contain many if any D1 players - so questions toward that game would be pointless in a focus group - so this would be D2 related perhaps.

To create a game that has so many passionate full-time players after 25 years and adding new Runewords and seeing the market explode, I don't see how they could let such an opportunity fall by the wayside. If it was my company, I'd be punching the air with excitement from having such a timeless marvel of a product in my portfolio.

After seeing the drop-off in Diablo IV at launch, I hope they learn what they need to learn once and for all.

The focus group email specifically states D2R.

I live in Sydney and received the email, but did not read/pay attention so I missed the opportunity to attend. Sorry, my bad!

I don't recall if it was mentioned before, but both positions were posted in April 2025, they were not old. Also, one of them was recently filled and the posting was taken down.

I'm not excited so much as I'm mildly dreading it. While I acknowledge major new content is possible, I hold huge doubts about that. I'd love to see A6, a new class, or whatever, but that seems farfetched to me. I'm also rather dubious about the balancing of those things after seeing Mosaic's implementation.

There are a lot of QoL things that could be added, but given we haven't seen even a hint of interest from the devs on it yet despite numerous people (including various big names in the D2 community) asking since day 1, I'm not holding my breath. I wish to be pleasantly surprised, but we'll see. I understand that D2R is meant to be very much like the original. However, I think enacting some good QoL changes won't be too large a departure from the original. We've certainly already seen some more major deviations than a currency tab, for example.

Things like LoD, it take whole power, ideally 4 well managed dedicate team that have experience create d2 to finish it in 1 season and fine tune, balance another season.
And it still very unlikely to release in end of year unless they triple the develop power.
The return of cost and revenue is another thing, still, we can find clue in blizzard shareholder gathering.

And if it really works, it probably need to create new unique, new runes, new character and another equipment system to increase space to play.
