Today was a lucky day. First a Vex drops by Andariel on Hell, then an Ist in Cow Hell, was in a chest next to The Cow King.
Then somebody just gave me a harle in game.
Nice, compared to the last days.. not even an Um dropped.
Ive honestly started to think that amazons have higher rune drop rate from all the classes as it has been the only class constantly dropping somewhat higher runes. Most likely not correct, but it really feels like that and it would explain why so many start with amazon
non-ladder softcore. Vex on Nightmare?? I didn't even know this was possible! I am in Halls of Vaught, btw.
Edit: I found another one (yes, another Vex) like 5 minutes later. I guess I should stop playing this and go try the Irish Lottery instead.

The Chaos Sanctuary random mobs gave me my 1st Andariel's Visage

But now I reached 90% of the Unique Holy Grail
Last Wish top roll on superior Phase Blade with 15% ed and +2 attack rating. Best ever I can ever get IMO. Extremely lucky.

Recently rolled a perfect Faith because I didn’t wanna pay for a low roll Faith. Extremely lucked out. I was only interested to test effect of Fanaticism aura from merc effect on main char, didn’t expect top roll lol. Thus didn’t get a superior version bow

Most likely, it's because of the areas/monsters you choose to go for depending on class and build.
Some are best as bosskillers, which overall has the best CHANCE to give something.
While most Amazon builds are at their best against large packs of monsters, which individually have much lower chance to drop things, but if you kill enough of them, may very well have a better chance to get some drops.
Basically, if you roll the dice enough times, you will get perfect rolls eventually.

Ive just played assa so much Id like to keep pause from it couple of playthrough which is why ive been using barb last season and pala now this season to learn something new. Amazon is just not for me as it is so gear dependant and harder to play through without good stuff.

Amazon is very easy on gear if you play her as a "caster". Either LF+Charged Strike, Poison Jav/Plague Jav, Fire and Cold bowskills or combinations of them.
An Insight bow for a caster amazon can take you quite far really, and is very easy to make.
It was even a joke meme, that amazon was the one class you could play through the entire game, all difficulties, naked with just a broken Javelin.
And back in D2X, except i didn't use a broken jav, just a regular one, i've actually done that as a challenge.
LF+CS as main skills, and then, i can't remember if i used a maxed Valkyrie or the poison skills to deal with immunes, but something like that.
