The same thing applies to Annihilus and Gheed's Fortune. Place these unique charms as far to the right in your inventory as you can, to be safe. Or rather, as far away from the open spaces in your inventory (where bought/looted items land).

I wonder why the devs have not made "lock a tile" system to the game. To lock certain tiles so nothing from those tiles is sold or moved by accident.
That sucks though to lose a torch or anything like this.
