Any meaningful use case for this head gear?

Cubed this Diadem in an offline game. Looks cool, but when it comes to barbarians, for damage I value Arreat's Face, and for magic find - IK Helm (along with IK Boots, Gauntlets and Belt for decent protection). This Diadem just doesn't seem to fit, even if I spice it up with a socket. Thoughts?

Pretty good for singer barb, and online it might have had some pvp uses too. WIth 20 ias on your Helm, you can make a 200 FCR singer build

Edit: I guess 200 FCR is kind of difficult to achieve offline, but this Helm is also great for a 105 fcr build. On bnet you can trade for all kinds of crazy singer helms, but offline this is a really nice find the more I think about it

In my opinion it is reroll fodder. You shouldn't be able to get a good barb Diadem if you already have Arreat's Face (it's the same with Druids). Not even for levelling, since you can wear Arreat's 20 levels earlier than the Diadem.

They can have some trade value. But are otherwise useless to you. This one in particular I would't trade. It's more valuable to you as a reroll. Diadem's don't exactly come easy.

Definitely a keeper, even in offline. Singer is the obvious option here, but 20%fcr turns out to be cool on any barb once you got Enigma and two good fcr rings. Mind that barb shares the fcr needed /frames to cast table with sorc, which means that you only have to get 37% fcr to reach 10 frames, for example. 20 fcr alone gets you from 13 frames to 11 which is a huge improvement when teleporting around

28 strg without any strg req is also nice, cause barb has the best vita/life ratio in the game. Every point you are not putting in strg gives you 4 more life

tl;dr: Imo better than Arreat when using Enigma for most purposes

I am not a barb expert, but a 2/20/30 is always a good item, especially for PvP. The high STR adds to it, the bit of mana does not really help but is not bad neither. Too bad there is no 6th affix like extra life or 2 os, that could go off the roof as for pricing (in theory, of course, I know you're offline).

Thanks to all who responded for the feedback. Even though a barb (a Frenzy one, a thrower, or an IK) has been my top choice character, I've never played a pure horker going beyond a pair of heart carvers here and there for some reason. Guess, now it's a good time to try and squeeze out something better than a Vex rune.

Diadems are usually evaluated like that indeed.

FCR, FRW, FCR, +2S, 2os. And this one ticks those boxes, except for the sockets. But there's a reason why Barb and Druid diadems are less valuable. Their respective class headgears far outshine anything the Diadem can roll. And if you have the class unique Helm already, you will not want to use the Diadem.

In fact, Rare Diadems are only useful as there is no unique that can replace them. If there is one, their value goes down to essentially zero.

I can see the argument for the singer barb, though. It's a very unique class (and boring, but that's besides the point). But I would counter argue that even with this Diadem in my inventory, I would prefer a different Helm with +2 Skills and more meaningful stats. Particularly, +mana which the singer barb requires. Harlequin would be my choice. I would trade FCR for more mana anytime with this build as long as I can hit the 63% breakpoint.

Not convinced. I would still reroll this Diadem
