The TZ was L93 not my Char (my Char was L91), so Uniques were, at least, L96 (91 + 5) and not 98
Anyway Monsters keep their original level if their original level was Higher than the "new TZ Level " for its type, so Baal TZ gives the same XP/Rewards as non TZ Baal

FULCRUM75 wrote: 7 months agoTotally agreed.
Vista and 8 sucked laughably while 7 was functional and reasonably ok.
Though i might argue that both 10 and 11 are subpar, so nearly a perfect strike, 2 in a row there.
But still, mostly every other.
The initial release of -95, the ones without any little a, b or c after the 95, was hilariously bad and the a/b/c version(s) are to some extent literally rewrites of large parts of the code, with "a" making it work mostly as intended and then adding the less vital fixes needed in the b and c updates.
Then came the utter disaster that was W-98. For some incredibly impossible reason, someone thought it was a great idea to do a remake of the worst parts of the original 95 code, try to put it back into the OS and then have a few hundred outsource programmers almost randomly contribute code without the slightest rules or regulations or sanity. And apparently not a single check for compatibility between the core code and the outsourced parts, or between the outsourced parts.
Ok, i am exaggerating, but sadly, not THAT much.
98SE was essentially a total rewrite, everything was put back together properly(almost, mostly). Worked well but was hampered by partially artificial and partially very real limits on RAM size and some other hardware issues.
Win ME then has the interesting uniqueness of being at the same time possibly both the absolute worst Windows ever, and the best.
If you managed to get a solid install with it, it was amazingly wellbehaved and reliable, easy to work with and good functionality.
The problem was, 9 times out of 10, getting that solid install was a pie in the sky aspiration of sheer futility and wishful thinking.
The slightest mistake or not having the right drivers and files instantly available during install and you were screwed without question, and the install just randomly went nuts at least a third of the time and, well, noone had a clue what caused the problems the rest of the time.
Then comes XP, they basically took the best parts of ME, rewrote the rest, removed all the underlying and internal DOS parts that made ME work so well when you did have a good install(and caused nearly all the problems when you didn't), and since the rewrites were based on the highly successful and extremely functional, but not so easy to work with Windows NT, when they squished those together, getting the reliability and functionality of NT, and the ease of use from ME, they overall succeeded in creating a very good OS.
Eh yes, i did some work as tech support in the 90s and 00s, i'm sure it's not that obvious right?
Oh yes, that was BIG BUSINESS for like 2-3 years.fredkid wrote: 7 months agoOne of my coworkers once bought a notebook with Windows 8, and the store offered him a downgrade to Windows 7 for an extra fee
Oh yeah, the attempt to put an OS optimised for touchscreen on desktop computers, easily predictable epic failure even if it wasn't for all the other idiocies it included.

I've noticed a number of PNG files not showing in posts. Convert your PNG files to Jpeg because PNG files are larger than JPG files of the same image. This is because PNG uses lossless while JPG uses lossy compression. Teebling is preparing to migrate the website to a new server with more storage. We can help with storage by converting our PNG files to JPG.
I think the problem is that windows uses PNG per default when you paste images directly in the area of the posting or auto-save them with the screen capture tool. To prevent this at least I have to paste the captured screen first in another program, safe it as JPG and then manually upload it. Surely not as convenient as simply capturing part of the screen and simply pasting it in the posting areamhlg wrote: 7 months agoI've noticed a number of PNG files not showing in posts. Blizzard captures images in png and sized based on your screen setting, so they need to be resized converted to PNG. Windows snipping tool will save to whichever you selected when saving a screenshot, and if you save to JPG, it will then default to it. In fact most if not all capture applications will allow you a number of formats. When you save look for "Save as Type," and it will show the formats the application can save as. I know (it seems I made my point not clear), but the default is PNG when you are not manually selecting a format or if you are using "auto-save" from the snipping tool - at least on my windows installation (and I have not yet found how to change that). Furthermore, if you paste the captured screen directly in the website (only using the clipboard) without explicit saving it as a JPG it is always a PNG.mhlg wrote: 7 months agoBlizzard captures images in png and sized based on your screen setting, so they need to be resized converted to PNG. I understood you. What I'm saying is when you start saving Windows 10 Snipping Tool files in JPG, it will start defaulting to JPG, in Windows 11 I don't know, but I'm certain you still have a choice of file type. All files that I save with Windows Snip now default to JPG. To be fair I use Greenshot for all my game Screenshots because it provides more control, especially when showing drops in D2r.oOKIWIOo wrote: 7 months agoI know (it seems I made my point not clear), but the default is PNG when you are not manually selecting a format or if you are using "auto-save" from the snipping tool - at least on my windows installation (and I have not yet found how to change that). Two rare Hydra Bows in a single TZ Dark Tower run, and neither rolled a Windforce. I realize a Windforce can be trade for as little as a Mal for 6% and Vex for 8%, which for a Strafezon makes no functional difference, but a Windforce is still one the most iconic D2 drops, and another one would've made seven.

Fail? These sell for Ist all day long.
I'm willing to accept other forms of currency. Like Tokens, Keys, Perfect Gems, and certain minor runes in lieu of my asking price. I'm also willing to accept rune combinations that add up to my asking price.
Yeah, the fail part is the 1 AR. Picking up an Eth sup CV, seeing 4 os, and then 1 AR leaves a bad feeling despite still being a decent item.
