I just beat Mephisto on P7

With my Smiter/Zealer using a CTA phaseblade and Spirit shield on my weapon swap instead of the Last Wish+HoZ that I thought I was using at first. While I'm sitting here like "Why tf isn't my lifetap proc'ing and how tf is he this tough?"

Life Tap

Wand in the past

If you play on PC with mouse & keyboard, you could set "Throw" on left click on the weapon swap. Of course, that means your character will just stand there like a dumbass and repeatedly say "I can't do that!" and "That's impossible!" until you realize you're on the wrong weapon swap, which might be dangerous if you rely on attacks to stay alive (via leech).

Lol I play on Nintendo Switch but had something similar happen with my

Frenzy Barb vs Uber Meph before I got my Last Wish

Phase Blade (what a fucking lifesaver that thing is btw).

Grief+Kingslayer on main (Kingslayer because of the CB+OW, plus I had a perfect roll blood crafted

Belt with the 3% life leech, 10% OW, +20life etc).

Frenzy with my balanced knives ... must've been drunk or something lol plus

Fade already proc'd probably made it hard to spot right away but thank God realized somethings fucked up after a couple moments

I played D2 LoD when it first came out (40yr old dad here) on PC but nowadays I'm too cheap to buy a gaming laptop/PC solely for D2R and plus playing the Switch on nightshifts at work is a gamechanger lol
