Hi

After reading some pages about Shadow Warrior, I still have some doubts...

From what I understand, he will use/learn the skill on my left/right mouse buttons.

My question is if after he learned a skill, he can still use it even if it was not on any of my mouse buttons anymore.

Like, I put Cloak of Shadows on my right button. After Shadow Warrior use it once (and so learned it), I change my right button to Mind Blast.
In this case, Shadow Warrior will still be able to use Cloak of Shadows?

During one of my play I was using Blades of Ice and Cloak of Shadows on my Mouse Buttons, and I was pretty sure that the Shadow Warrior use Claws of Thunder sometimes (he sometimes had white charges and I saw some lightnings coming from his side

)

I don't know If he could actually use Claws of Thunder because it learned it previously (I was using it on "left button" before on the same game), or It was just a big coincidence, that the Shadow Warrior used the Claws of Thunder on the brief moment that the Claws of Thunder went to my "left button" when I use a Hot Key

(as the "Hot Key" in practice, switch the skill on the mouse button, activate the skill and then switch back)

As far as I know, Shadow Warrior will only use the skills assigned to left & right click actions.

The learning thing is only for synergetic effects. I.e., you put Shock Web on right click, Shadow Warrior uses it and "learns" it, then you switch to Lightning Sentry on right click. Shadow Warrior will no longer be able to use Shock Web, but its Lightning Sentry will now be synergized by the learned Shock Web level. If you then put Charged Bolt sentry on right click, Shadow Warrior will no longer be able to use Lightning Sentry. When the Shadow Warrior uses Charged Bolt sentry it "learns" it. When you switch back to Lightning Sentry again on right click, the Shadow Warrior's Lightning Sentry will now be synergized by both the learned Shock Web level and learned Charged Bolt Sentry level (but will still not actually use those two skills).

(also, synergy bonuses for Shadow Warrior are not restricted to level 20 per skill)

Disclaimer: I never use Shadow Warrior despite playing Assassin quite a bit, so if I'm wrong with any of the above, please correct me so I can update this post

Side note: I've no idea how this works on console, or on controller on PC. Anyone know? Do two of the controller buttons simply correspond to left and right click, respectively?

So probably just a big coincidence... The Shadow Warrior attacked on the same moment that my Hot Key changed the mouse skill (and so my mouse skill was actually different for a while...)

So... No trick to have a Shadow Warrior that uses both Cloak of Shadows and Mind Blast

(as neither can be assigned to the left button...)

As far as I know - no.
Maybe on controller, depending on how it works? (not sure)

On D2 (computer) can we have, at the same time, "Hot key" buttons and "switch mouse skill" buttons (like old D2)?

So I could at least change Shadow Warrior current skills easily?

(It would be good for paladins changing auras too

)

My Shadow Warrior on my controller seems to know EVERYTHING on my binds. She uses all the Charge ups finishers, and buffs I use. She also uses Mind Blast and Cloak of Shadows regularly.
