I'm willing to accept other forms of currency. Like Tokens, Keys,

Perfect Gems, and certain minor runes in lieu of my asking price. I'm also willing to accept rune combinations that add up to my asking price.

I heard that this was abused by bots (big surprise), who could fill up on on-character

Gold in the fraction of a second. And then thousands of bots doing it… basically overwhelming the servers with bursts of buy/sell-requests.

I'm in CET (Central European Time), so that's UTC+1 normally and UTC+2 during DST.
My profile says Ladder, but I play both Ladder and Non-Ladder.
My profile says Softcore, but I play both Softcore and Hardcore.
My Holy Grail Tracker is for Offline Hardcore.

It's no longer possible to execute. Well, offline it is, from what I hear.

There's a video from Coooley from over a year ago that describes how it works:

Curiously, someone posted about it on Reddit a little over a week ago, perhaps bringing attention to it. But I dunno how Blizzard never saw Coooley's (or anyone else's) video about it for so long...

I guessed a game password once (easy guess, it was

Gold) and

Lo and behold it was a bot auto selling one of those grinding affix items in A1.

This is a good patch.

Confirmed. Offline is functional; online was indeed patched.
