Where did you get your Ber / Jah?

Had my first amd and only Ber (playing since the original release of LoD) drop this season (S9), on TZ Pit Level 1 from a Fallen.

Never got a Jah though, but managed to get 2 Zod.

I didn't get a Ber and a Jah yet. My highest rune found was a Vex rune found at a sarcophagus in terrorized catacombs. Used it for my first Heart of the Oak. Soon will be my turn.

Never had either.

No Jah...
just 2 Ber... can't remember the first one...
Second was a few day ago Worldstone Keep Level 2 TZ

Got 2 Jah in D2R so far. Both during Key farming. 1 in Tower, 1 in Temple Halls.

Got Jah in Act 3 Jungle while leveling my first char of D2R !
Rather encouraging

6 lvl 85+ chars later, no other, nor Ber, but got 2 Sur (1 in Arcane and 1 in Chaos Sanctuary, if I remember well)

My only Jah dropped from a Fallen in Terrorized Catacombs Level 4. It was on Valentine's Day last year. I'm convinced that my girl Andariel set up that nice surprise for me.


I've never seen a Sur, Ber, Cham or Zod drop.

Since starting to play online, I got 2 Ber. One in a chest in non-TZ Durance of Hate and I don't remember where I got the other one. No Jah yet.

My first Ber was in the Frigid Highlands some time ago, the second one was few days ago in a non-existing level
(I have never found Jah, but honestly I am playing quite a short time, so I think I am lucky girl with 2 found Ber s (and 1 Cham !))

- Zod 1st from act 5 icy caves or similar dungeon, 2nd from cows

How long are you playing? :-O

On my hardcore grail over ~398 hours thus far. Surprisingly only 2x Ber & 1x Jah.

- Jah: TZ Arcane - Ghost on Summoner Platform
- Ber 1: TZ Cows - Random Hell Bovine
- Ber 2: Chaos - random Fingermage (Ghost)

As always, this is the nature of RnG. In many cases, I am power farming /Players7 games, right areas/zones, including a ton of Ghost hunting and A5 Sparkly Chest pops, plus dual camp fire LKs.

Over 20 years of playing, plenty of Ber & Jah, but I wanted to provide more of a recent acute perspective.

I have found 4 Jah and 1 Ber in my years of playing D2. All have come from Chaos somehow, despite me never much focusing Chaos exclusively. just the luck of the draw I guess

Sur and Zod? Never seen them.

While i found a Sur just the other day, but otherwise, my highest ever drops have been a single Ohm, 2 Gul, 1 Mal, 2 Um and 2(3?) Pul.
In roughly 10 years of playing lots, and another 5 years of playing some.

At least now i have finally managed to put together a character that can go pretty much everywhere(i literally did both Diablo and Baal on my own the other day, while the latter was a TZ, which was a first), a FoH paladin, while my best sorc can reliably do Arcane Sanctuary and Andariel pretty quick. (i have no idea how people can do Meph runs, my sorc just instadies enroute from those damn dolls if i try to go there... Baal is so much safer...)

Ber is the best rune I've found and it dropped from Hell Rakanishu when I was otw to get Wirt's Leg. I found Um in NM Canyon of the Magi and have found two Puls from Hell cows. Pretty good luck since I've only been playing since October...
