Description
So the other day on the lucky drops thread, I realized that the wells are the things that never let you down. You can find unique rings and bite your nails until you identify them, only to be let down because you found the 100th Manald/ Nagelring.
But the wells are always there for you, they always take care of you and you always feel happy finding one.
So this topic will be the "Well Appreciation Corner", where we will take a stroll down Memory lane and remember when the wells gave us joy or saved us from certain Death.
I will start. The other day while I was running Mephi, I found 3 wells, the second one especially saved me since I TPed in the middle of a Mauler pack with Fanaticism, somehow the well was near me, clicked it before I get mauled to Death and TPed as fast as I could.
Long live the wells!

I don't think it saved my life before but tons of time for sure.
Curses, poison, cold, you name it. It comes in handy.
I am never mad at anything other than Manald Heal btw.

The best of wells for me;
Getting rid of that f^cking Amplify Damage aura from cursed enemies.
And if you come back a few mins later, it fully restocks, just like how most Buff shrines are re-usable.

I can't believe you actually made the thread, but this is awesome.
I think there's always a well somewhere in Nihlathak's Temple and I always look for it to remove curses and poison. I've narrowly escaped Death many times thanks to that particular well.

Wells are by far the best shrine. You might be saying to yourself, "But a well isn't a shrine...?"
It is. It is a shrine to the most wonderful god that exists: Water.
I appreciate every well that I encounter and I'm happy to see this thread.

OP
I couldn't resist! I'm genuinely excited whenever I find one when I have a curse, or mana is low, or mercenary is about to die, so many uses! Thank you for suggesting it by the wayhuman_being wrote: 10 months agoI can't believe you actually made the thread, but this is awesome.

Early-game stamina dispensers.
Also, in multi-player, wells are an excellent measure of the reliability of your teammate(s). Either they go by the unwritten code of leaving a dose for the next guy, or they hog it all like a real scumbag.

Never thought of that, always played the game with a couple of my closest friends and never had that issue. Never played with randos though, that's interesting!Anesthesia wrote: 10 months agoEarly-game stamina dispensers.

I always love having a well close to The Smith when I'm playing through normal SSF. Character isn't tough enough to just take him head on, but with 3 lives I am haha.
The way I use wells is I always let it refill. Hit it once then clear away some more areas, hit the well again for all the goodness, then keep clearing. Never let your wells go dry!

I am available for trading every other week, limited trading on my off week.
Thanks for understanding.

Yeah that Travincal well always comes in real handy and I feel bad when it is not in one of its usual spawning spots.
I always appreciate that they remind me to spend some mana and renew my buffs - Frozen Armor, Energy Shield, Fade, Holy Shield, Cyclone Armor, Battle Orders, whatever. See a Well, renew your buffs, take a draught, and leave some for the next guy.
