I restarted playing again this month and I felt it was quite smooth sailing to 89, mainly doing MF runs and killing special packs along the way, also clearing TZ at times. L94 - L95 is when even non-Tz Baal's runs start do give less XP than the worsts Terror Zones

Oh, I've had quite a few 99s back in the pre-1.10 LoD days. Honestly, it wasn't all that bad / boring doing the cows over and over again (with an EXP shrine, if possible)

Granted, all my characters were decked out in hacked items, but still.

Honestly, I'd never even bother doing anything else but Chaos / Baal TZ runs after 95.

So they seemingly f'd up something.

Last year was 19 Zones; yet this year they said "20" - but it is the same 19. Possible they left a the cap at '19' and forgot to increase it with the intention of adding a new zone but they misfired is my guess.

And yup thanks for the link.

Fortunately, thanks to Pavke's new XP Calc, it further validated that at clvl94 that is when you hit the major experience penalty wall for standard Chaos/ Baal runs and you begin to gain more exponential XP @ 94. At level 95, that is the absolute stop gap when you need to really start focusing on most if not all TZ Zones which are still going to be superior.

There always are a lot of dynamics involved such as clear speed, a group to play with, are you doing P8 XP, but P1 in the zone to gain the 4.5x bonus etc.

But I was pleased analyzing the data with Pavke's new calc that the prior video was still accurate and relevant.

Being a Friday, it should be Gambling - however they did skip it on the first Friday and the most recent which is a first after 22 & 23.

My bet sticks with Gambling.

And yup, this event is stupid especially for my HC fam which I called out below (time stamped)

I tested the 100% chance to cast a level 100 Meteor on Death with Andariel using a disarmed Paladin and mercenary. The lvl 100 Meteor did almost no harm to Andariel, so I think I can cancel the test I had planned for Diablo. It does make one point clear, there is no benefit to a Rainbow Facet: Fire Death with lvl 31 Meteor over the level up version.

Probably not which makes this one of the most useless of the 22 nights of Terror.

Yep, even a randomly cast on attack once per game lvl 100 Meteor would make more sense than this.

It should have been 100% chance to cast level 100 Meteor, level 100 Hydra, level 100 Blizzard, level 100 Frozen Orb, level 100 Chain Lightning and level 100 Nova on Death, all at once.
