It shows the daily effect on the character selection screen for offline characters (on Playstation anyway), but it doesn't seem to do anything for them. My level 95 sorc's typical exp run loadout has 290 mf and I was hoping for that sexy +250. Detailed stats didn't show the extra mf and I didn't notice any difference (yes, I know, deminishing returns and all that, but still).
My grail tracker is for offline SC. I also play offline HC and recently some occasional online SC NL.
What time do the effect change?

So interesting, first night was a repeat, but it was not Black Friday gambling; first time we had a Friday that was not this event.
This is likely because in 22/23 we had 3x Black Friday events total. If we look across the rest of the month, there will still be three total Friday's that I expect to be Gambling. The final day, January 3rd would be the final Friday.
I am updating the sheet again here - I am traveling right now and returning Monday night, but will make sure to check in these next couple days.

"Double life" today
im told the Terror holiday will spawn us dclones at some point so i figured might as well prep for it. Never actually faced dclone and i play only hardcore nonladder online. because of hardcore, i decided to prep myself using an offline character.
to satisfy my paranoia i recreated my character and gear in the original d2LOD using hero editor and then porting the save to d2r. and as it turns out i was smart to do so as i found out very quickly.
the good: dclone cant kill me. the bad: my current setup is unable to kill him either and he keeps taking out my merc before he can do any real damage Life Tap or no Life Tap.
was definitely a humbling experience today.

I'm assuming you mean Th3ory's list? That list is tracking for '22, '23 and now '24. The order isn't the across years so don't expect it to be a predictor. Merely a tracker/reference for those who care.

Seeing how when they came up with this stuff, they were all in D4 mode and none of them ever had any clue about D2 to begin with, I dare say they went "50%? that's a ton! let's do that! they'll love that!", simply not realizing how D2 math works and that 50% is basically nothing for any real char, unlike with the multiplicative scaling of nearly everything they were building for D4.fredkid wrote: 11 months agoIt is just a regular non-weapon 50% ed bonus (equivalent to a L2 Might)
