I´ve done 67 Nihlathak runs on Hell so far. Sometimes even when it was a Terror zone. I have found not a single Key.....
Am I missing something?

Rates and chances only even out over very large datasets / runs.

Probably not. Just a bad streak of RNG.
I know the chances are slim, but the total is 72 runs now.

Activily trying to farm keys made the game too frustrating for me as the drop rate felt too low so I stopped trying. And of course, now that I don't try, I get them more often when doing TZ's.

Well, it feels that way because you're tracking it. Whereas otherwise it's just a nice surprise.
Emotional state is relevant, though. If it gets frustrating, you should definitely do something else, get back to it later.

When I want to run Ubers from time to time I farm for keys.
I play offline Single Player on P8 and sometimes it takes many runs to get one Key, either from Nihlathak or The Summoner. If you play online on P1 it's even worse.
From The Countess I have a full stash from running her for runes.

My statistic is 3-6 dkeys from 60-70 runs through one hour TZ Halls. So you obviously had some really bad luck, but it should even out eventually:)
I often try to run Nithlathak in public games to get better odds. Obviously number of runs is lower then, but at least it's less boring as I join others in WSK, CS or cows before next game.

I have had days where I ran many hours and not gotten keys. Then other days I get them every other run. My best streak so far is getting a Key 3 runs in a row. When I have a bad run of keys I just log off for the day, or work on something else, like levelling or something. Maybe do some cows/tower caller 1-4 for runes.
I am available for trading every other week, limited trading on my off week.

I don't think so. It's the RNG God who's in control.
No, only number of players matters. For me TZ is just good motivation to actually try farm dkeys:)

I farm nihlatak often, dont think i got to 40 runs with no keys yet, but had some bad luck and good luck drops too, and i just found 1 after about 6-8 runs today so far.
