Small Charm - ilvl recommended to cube a charm with: "Single Resist" 11% 20 Life

the min level, and the level that have better odds of rolling a Small charm with
"Single Resist" 11% 20 Life
is L61
(20 Life - "Of Life" - is a L47 affix + 14 levels because Small Charm has Qlvl 28)

But I saw some links talking about L62 as the "best level" to cube a small charm

L62 (affix level 48) just give me access to two more affixes that I don't want:
Serpent's +13-17 Mana
Stalwart +20-30 Defense

Is there any other reason to cube a small charm L62 instead of L61?
Is it possible to cube the small charm that i want with L60 or less?

i think it works like this:
req item lvl = desired affix level*1.333

so vita has affix level 47
47*1.333=62.666
so ilvl 61 can't have vita affix

Isn't that a problem since you can't be exactly 100% sure what is the ilvl of an item tho?

You can find some areas with the desired level and anything that drop from clickables or normal monster will be of that level (if dropped from Champions or Uniques they would be a little higher - +2/+3 if I remembering correctly )
In the case, there are some areas on Nightmare that are L61 and some that are L62 ( areas/ )

The calculation that I know is

if ilvl < (99 – int(qlvl/2)= then affix level = ilvl - int(qlvl/2) else affix level = ilvl * 2 - 99.

(Small Charm have quality Level 28)

This calculation matches the link recommendations:
L47 areas for Shimmering (L33 affix= 47- 28/2)
L54 areas for "11% resist" (L40 affix =54 -28/2)
L62 areas for Stalwart, Serpent’s (L48 affix= 62 -28/2)

In other part the link says that "of Vita" requires ilvl 61 (L47 affix -28/2)

I seems that L61 is really the minimum/optional to get "Of Vita", but people recommend L62 because it is very close and have some extra affixes.

The only way to guarantee a L61 small charm is farm some specific areas in Nightmare Act 5 (

Crystalline Passage,

Frozen River,

Glacial Trail,

Drifter Cavern)

But you may find areas in hell with the second better "level range" to get those charms: L62 - L70 post3736350.html#p3736238

Black Marsh, which you need to go for

If this wiki is accurate: https://diablo2.diablowiki.net/Area_Level

Then ilvl=mlvl=alvl, with exceptions for the more powerful variant monsters.

So NM cows would be ilvl=64, those aforementioned icy levels are ilvl=61 and 62 (see table).

You can only be certain of an items ilvl if you saw it drop.

And alvl is a little more complicated depending on "quality level" and "magic level"

"magic level " > 1:
alvl = ilvl + "magic level"

alvl = ilvl only for itens with "magic level" 0 and "quality level" = 0 or 1

That's why we need a L61 monster to roll a L47 affix on a small charm (quality level 28)
