Maul mechanics

A friend and I went full furry and we are running through hell as Werewolf and Werebear best friends and sometimes as Beast lovers He’s the Werebear and I’ve never engaged with that bestial art.

I’m curious about Maul’s mechanics. I’m pretty certain the attack speed bonus applies to the use of other skills, such as fire claw. Does the plus damage bonus also apply (as physical) on a fire claw attack?

As far as putting points directly into Werebear, im nearly certain that the Ed from that skill applies to his physical damage when using fire claw. Is that accurate?

I did read through the recently posted guide which I appreciated but didn’t see anything regarding this interaction and would like some clarification so we can proceed through hell with maximum ferocity.

Correct, IAS + ED% from Maul charges and ED% from Werebear apply to all physical bear attacks whether that be Maul, Fire Claws, or Hunger.
