So what are the best uniques to use a Zod on when they are ethereal?
I’m aware a 5os high ed Rune Master is a good choice, a Ribcracker is another good choice, and a Death Cleaver is good too.
But are there any others worth punching a hole in then using that rare yet inexpensive Zod rune?

Can be used to make Runewords:
Nate, like u said, its inexpensive Zod rune 
so just use on any useful Eth items u believe its useful?

Eth hoz
Eth heavens light
Eth Alma Negra
Eth arreat
In all, any Eth items can be Zod’d if YOU feel like its useful to you

A good Tomb Reaver should be a no brainer, spicy ones is Executioner's Justice.
In any case, any weapon with a hefty +ED%: Horizon's Tornado, Stone Crusher and Windhammer to name a few.

A few others not mentioned yet: Astreon's Iron Ward and The Redeemer, Headstriker, The Reaper's Toll
Unfortunately, a set items and a few unique items like Schaefer's Hammer can't be ethereal because they are indestructible--otherwise this list would be longer

I agree with guys.
Specialy with Executioner's Justice ,and Astreon's Iron Ward.
Offcourse i forgot thats Schaeffer is indestructible. And i hate that

I want add another weapon. Earth Shifter. Is one of rarest uniques in game. I have one. It have extremlly high req in strange and i think now its hard to use. But etheric ? Meaby its worth of that but i never saw this. Even non etheric i found only once. I saw last week etheric Stormlash... Price was extremlly for me. 40jahs...
i have even screen. I also use sometimes Stormlash in my zealer... But etheric was much better...

peoples put Zod also inside herold zakarum... i forgot say that.
I know we're specific to uniques in this conversation. However, is it ever reasonable to Zod a rare or is it frowned upon given available repairs mod?
Typically an Eth Dimensional Blade with great mods (Visio, etc.) can be upped to Phase Blade + Zoded to stay Eth but gain the extra AS of the Phase Blade.

Phase Blades are indestructible (they have no durability), you don't need to Zod them. 15/40 jewel would be a better choice.
