Best use for Cham?

Hey y’all

So I’m switching up my playing goals from leveling up some of my niche builds to gambling throwing weapons and farming for a Cham.

I’ve got some options, either to go with a Plague or Pride. Pride would be good for my bowazon, summon necro, or other physical chars, but Plague would be good for my poison necro or anything on the weaker side who could benefit from the Cleansing aura (either self wielded or on an act 5 merc).

Any recommendations? Or other options worth considering - I could make a Mist I guess, or save up for a Zod and make an ebotd, or not cube up to Cham and make a Last Wish… haha

Probably will take me a week or so before a Cham or a couple Jahs drop so I’m not in a big rush to decide.

Apart from that, Cham is for anti-freeze more than anything imo.

Yea the Dragon pally would be fun, but I don’t know if I wanna go down that route before sunder charms are available offline

is there any confidence that they will become such ? I mean, most likely sunder will be left in ladder forever, for ease of search, I think we don't see sunder in nonladder

I wouldn't necessarily expect them to move to NL, same way the S1 runewords didn't move down.

Single player is and remains a maybe in that it generally follows ladder rules. Except Terror zones don't exist in offline play. If and when they ever enable those, I'd expect sunders to also drop in SP but who knows if that'll ever happen. Until then..just download them for SP.

Maybe Plague, but for a Rabies druid? For poison necro Death's Web is a better choice.

A5 merc with Plague is interesting for some builds for Lower Resist proc.

Still quite niche use.

Would not use it as necro- better cast it myself and keep might a2 merc.

Trying with my light zon - cannot afford an Infinity.

You expect to find a Cham in a week? Especially while looking for it? Or maybe find 2 jahs and cube them? That thought is kind of stomach turning.

Anyway, I think the best use for a Cham is to save it for a socket when you need CBF but don't want to compromise your gear choices to get it.
