Just started playing need trade advice

I just started playing again (it's been a while) and I got an

Ist drop for me on my hammerdin who has virtually no gear.

What should I prioritize for trading? What would be a good deal to look for towards trading away this

Ist?

If your hammerdine just have basic gears and u only have an

Ist to by:

My suggestion:

- first, look at some of the postings by this community, some players giving away free useful items.
- then use your

Ist for the remaining items u need:

>>make Spirit in pally shield(if u havent), the elite base is super cheap, can be bought with pgems for 25-30 all resist ones
>>weapon, use wizspike - super cheap and free sometimes in pub and on forum, for fcr and all resist, if your hammer does 7-9k dmg, thats all u need to mob through hells and all bosses on p1.
>>apparently u wont be able to buy Enigma with

Ist, use vipermagi - super cheap, free sometimes in pub or forum
>> rings- use useful crafted rings or all resist/stat rings which are also can be bought for cheap or free sometimes
>> for ammy, get a basic magical 2 pal+ mf/other stats, super cheap and free sometimes

Overall, u should convert your

Ist into lower runes: 2

Um,

Pul 2

Lem ? Then use those lower runes to buy the gears above. As always, try to get them for free since most seasoned players give away stuff above for free…

You could try to get an

Annihilus. A

Harlequin Crest (

Shako) or

Skin of the Vipermagi chestpiece would also be available.

If you are really lucky you could find somebody willing to part with a Heart of the Oak but that would be kinda hard to find for an

Ist.

You could break that

Ist into smaller change like

Mal,

Um,

Pul,

Lem and then trade for gear you need. The most expensive thing for your hammerdin will be a HoTo (Heart of the Oak)

Flail. That requires a

Vex rune. You could also look for people trading HOTO's on this website that didn't get a great roll for cheaper. You basically want +skills on your hammerdin, so you could also trade for a Pali torch. Pick up an Anni charm, I can give you a free one if you message me. Cheap armor would be

Skin of the Vipermagi,

Shako

Helm, Trang Oul's

Claws for gloves, a ravenfrost, Spirit shield or HoZ.

I'd say trading the

Ist straight for a Pali torch might be the biggest bang for your buck.

Also, a big tip on your Hammerdin, put 1 point into

Smite and 1 point into

Fanaticism (so you have a hybrid Hammerdin/Smiter), make a Black runeword

Flail (upgrade to a Grief

Phase Blade once you get rich) and trade for Drac's gloves. You will then be able to kill DClone and with a few more pieces you can run Ubers for torches. Make a Treachery armor, Trade for:

Guillaume's Face

Helm, HOZ shield, ravenfrost ring, Dwarfstar ring,

String of Ears

Belt,

Goblin Toe or

Gore Rider

Boots.

Your ultimate goal is to get an Enigma Armor, that is a huge game changer for the hammerdin. You will get spoiled once you have an Enigma on a hammerdin.

I was basically going to say same as above. Break it down and aim for some of the best pieces of mf gear,

Shako, maybe war travs. Anni if you can afford it.

Your profile says you are on NL. I think being the game has been out for so long and Ladder SZN1 has joined the throng when the game launched (aka Ladder SZN 0 as i call it.) Those items mentioned above should be easy to get.

I can give you some items for free. Please check my stash and click on the free tab. Assuming it is non ladder softcore. Sorry I have not started ladder yet (year late).
