Hello!
Looking for some advice from some wise sage like players here.
So far ladder season two I've been having fun with my first ever Lightning Fury / Charged Strike amazon.
I wanted to see if it was possible to turn my Amazon in to a very tough uber killing machine.
Has anyone ironed out a decent "cheap or budget" build / gear set up that allows amazon to easily survive and murder Ubers?

Open to negotiation.

The only uber that's a concern is Über Mephisto. Dealing with him requires a near-complete gear swap. For me, he took 45 seconds to take down and I made some major mistakes that slowed down my time, like forgetting to swap out my merc's Infinity for Pride, forgetting to use the Life Tapwand, not noticing that I was attacking with Charged Strike for a good 15 seconds before switching to Jab, and having my back face a few skeleton mages instead of using a Tristram building wall to block their line of sight.
The key differences from the typical lightning javazon gearset are:
If you go with Jab*, you could use a Duress armor (after pre-procing Fade as suggested) e.g. in an Archon Plate. In addition, you can use the Lvl 23 Enchant from Demon Limb to significantly boost your AR before the fight.
Also, since you have 33% Open Wounds from Duress, you might wanna go for Goblin Toe for more CB than Gore Rider but I haven't tried it yet with the latter so not sure what's best. Dracul's Grasp might also be an alternative pair of gloves (and I'd say a must-have if you don't use a Life TapWand).
* which I guess is the only real budget option as otherwise you'd need quite some - % lightning res which is not too cheap to come by after breaking Meph's immunity with I suppose a Sunder Charm or Plague lower res proc from your merc. I could be totally wrong though.
I don't know how I completely overlooked that this is on ladder. I was still operating under the principle of a non-Paladin unbreakable lightning immunity.
That being said, a Jab-based, physical damage approach is still the cheapest option in terms of gear against Über Mephisto and you don't need a skill/stat respec for it to be effective. Although now, I'm sure a sunder charm with regular javazon gear and Charged Strike will be fine offensively as long as you have Thunderstroke and Griffon's Eye. The Life Tap returns might be underwhelming though and you'd be down an extra 75+% lightning resists.
I like the Demon Limb mention as well for additional AR. I always kept one for DClone and ubers in LoD, still keep one in my shared stash today, and forgot to mention it here because I use so many things for pre-buffing or utility on weapon switch that I have to carry additional weapon switch weapons in the cube and don't always remember all of them anymore.

Expansion Ladder Season 1 Level 99 (#115 Amazon, #584 Overall)
I never tried it with an Amazon but I think the advice for Ubers is the same regardless of which class you use, or at least the same for all melee builds. You need: AR, Crushing Blow, Life Tap, stacked resists (especially for Mephisto).
