Description

Bloodletter
is a great progression weapon due to having great damage, attack speed and life leech for it's required character level of 30.

Barbarians dual-wielding those will feel a massive power spike at char lvl 30, allowing them to destroy everything in their path even on /players 8 difficulty for the entirety of normal. The swords will still be pretty decent through nightmare assuming the rest of his gear is also good (with the occasional /players x scaling down).

It's worth noting two of these can grant from +4 up to a whopping +8 to
Blade Mastery
and +2 to +6 to
Whirlwind
.

This is a great early-mid Nightmare weapon. The damage is good and especially the 20% Increase Attack Speed and 8% Life Stolen can be very useful not only for a Barbarian but for other melee characters as well, such as the
Zeal
Paladin.

not Sword Mastery.

For those curious, 43% Increased Attack Speed is needed to bring
Bloodletter
's
Whirlwind
to-hit checks down from 5 frames-per-check to 4 frames-per-check.
